Abstract
<B>"<MV>SECADOR DE GRãOS EM FLUXO CRUZADO OBLìQUO<MV>"<D>. A invenção trata de secador de grãos em fluxo cruzado oblíguo, que objetiva proporcionar um procedimento e equipamento especialmente ecológico de secagem de grãos, pela não liberação do ar de secagem para o meio ambiente, além de apresentar alto rendimento térmico comparativamente àqueles convencionais, entre uma série de outras vantagens, sob os mais diversos aspectos. Desta forma, o invento caracteriza-se por utilizar um princípio de secagem, segundo o qual quanto maior o teor de umidade da massa de grãos, em fluxo descendente vertical, menor será a temperatura do fluxo ascendente do ar de secagem e vice-versa, sendo que para tanto tal fluxo de ar em relação ao fluxo da massa de grãos, realiza um percurso ou percorre um caminho em forma de "S", atravessando várias vezes a massa de grãos, ora num ora noutro sentido, fornecendo-lhe calor e retirando-se-lhe umidade, configurando um fluxo cruzado oblíquo ascendente, sendo que, no final do dito percurso "S", tal fluxo de ar será direcionado para a parte externa e concêntrica da estrutura, realizando isolamento térmico da mesma, através de um fluxo vertical descendente ou divergente paralelo.
