Abstract

A chain wheel suitable for using in a slot-like conveyor, which includes gear teeth (3) and a hub (5), both of them are separate structures. The gear teeth (3) are inlaid in the hub (5). The advantage of the chain wheel is the gear teeth (3) can be replaced quickly when they are wore out and there is no need to replace the entire chain wheel.

Description

CANRPonb\DCCOTZS\UJJ935J I DOC-innA/2012 la "A Quickly Replaceable Chain Wheel Structure" Technical Field The present invention relates to a driving chain wheel of a chute conveyor as a conveying apparatus adapted to convey bulk solid material at a high temperature and heavy load, particularly to an easily replaceable chain wheel structure of a chute conveyor. Background Art A chute conveyor is an apparatus for conveying alumina clinker in a burning workshop in an alumina factory. Because of deterioration of working environment due to dust contamination, a wheel tooth portion of a driving chain wheel in a transmission system of the apparatus wears seriously. Fig. I is a schematic view of a transmission system of a prior art chute conveyor. When the wheel tooth of the driving unitary chain wheel 7 wears to a certain degree, the apparatus will not operation normally, whereupon a chain wheel must be changed. The driving chain wheel of a conventional chute conveyor is a unitary structure, as shown in Fig.2 the unitary chain wheel 7 needs to be detached upon replacement. The first thing to do in detaching the chain wheel is to detach parts related to the chain wheel, such as a transmission chain, a coupling, a bearing seat and a bearing 8, and then the chain wheel can be detached from a transmission shaft 6. The whole repair process requires intensive labor, high costs and a long repair cycle. Summary of the Invention According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a quickly replaceable chain wheel structure, comprising a wheel tooth and a hub, wherein the wheel tooth and the hub are separately formed, the wheel tooth comprises a plurality of individual teeth which are configured to be embedded on the hub, and said wheel tooth comprises two or more groups of individual teeth. According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a quickly replaceable chain wheel structure, comprising a wheel tooth and a hub, wherein the C.\NRPorbl\DCC\TZSu4-354_.DOC-IM 7/2112 -2 wheel tooth and the hub are separately formed, said wheel tooth comprises multiple teeth which are configured to be embedded on the hub in groups, said wheel tooth comprising two or more of said groups. A technical problem that embodiments of the present invention intend to solve is to provide a novel quickly replaceable chain wheel structure, to solve the technical problems such as intensive labor, high costs and a long repair cycle during the whole repair process caused by, first of all, detaching parts related to the chain wheel such as a transmission chain, a coupling, a bearing seat and a bearing during the repair of the chain wheel of the chute conveyor. According to preferred embodiments, to solve the aforesaid technical problem, the structure provides a quickly replaceable chain wheel structure, comprising a wheel tooth and a hub, characterised in that the wheel tooth and the hub are separate and the wheel tooth is embedded on the hub. Said wheel tooth can be embedded on the hub via a pressing ring and a fixing bolt. Said wheel tooth comprises a plurality of individual teeth which can be configured to be embedded on the hub. Said wheel tooth can comprise multiple teeth which are configured to be embedded on the hub in groups. Said wheel tooth can comprise two or more of said groups. The advantages and effects of the present model are as follows: According to the structure, since the wheel tooth and hub are designed as separate parts and the wheel tooth is embedded on the hub, the wheel tooth can be very easily replaced by only detaching the bolt and the nut, needless to replace the hub portion, when the wheel tooth on the hub wears. This not only reduces labor intensity of repairers but also cuts the manufacturing costs of the accessories, substantially shortens the repair cycle and meanwhile improves the operation rate of the apparatus. The wheel tooth is symmetrical in the longitudinal cross section. When one side thereof C.\NRPonblDCOTZSuJr)154_1 DOC- /I20 12 -3 wears seriously, a force receiving surface of the wheel tooth is changed by different mounting modes to increase the working life of the wheel tooth by one time. The present structure thoroughly alters the mode of replacing the whole of the chain wheel when the chain wheel wears in the past. Brief Description of the Drawings The drawings described herein are for illustration purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of the present teachings. Fig. I is a schematic view of a transmission system of a prior art chute conveyor; Fig.2 is a schematic view of a unitarily constructed chain wheel in the prior art; and Fig.3 is a schematic view of a separately constructed chain wheel. In the figures, the reference numeral I denotes bolt, 2 nut, 3 wheel tooth, 4 pressing ring, 5 hub, 6 transmission shaft, 7 unitary chain wheel, and 8 bearing. Detailed description of a preferred embodiment The present structure will be further described in detail with reference to Fig.3 and the scope of protection sought is not limited to the embodiments. As shown in Fig.3, a chain wheel of the chute conveyor is a structure formed by combining separate parts. The chain wheel is specifically constructed as follows: it comprises a wheel tooth 3 and a hub 5 which are separate parts, wherein the wheel tooth 3 is embedded on the hub 5 via a pressing ring 4, a bolt I and a nut 2 for fixation. The wheel tooth 3 can be a plurality of individual teeth embedded on the hub 5 or multiple teeth embedded on the hub 5 in groups. Said wheel tooth 3 can comprise two or more groups of parts of the wheel tooth. When the wheel tooth 3 needs repairing and replacing, the parts of the wheel tooth 3 can be very easily detached only by detaching the bolt I and the nut 2. The wheel tooth 3 is symmetrical in the longitudinal cross section. When one side thereof wears seriously, a force receiving surface of the wheel tooth 3 is changed by different mounting modes to CANRPonbI\DCC\TZS\4499354. DOC-31M7/201 2 -4 increase the working life of the wheel tooth by one time. The invention has been described by way of non-limiting example only and many modifications and variations may be made thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Throughout this specification and the claims which follow, unless the context requires otherwise, the word "comprise", and variations such as "comprises" and "comprising", will be understood to imply the inclusion of a stated integer or step or group of integers or steps but not the exclusion of any other integer or step or group of integers or steps.
