Abstract

The underside of the padding of the ironing board cover and the top side of the board (1) are each equipped with a woven or nonwoven fabric layer (4); the layers overlap when the covering is placed on the board and act as a Velcro connection. The two fabrics can alternatively be joined with eyes on the padding and hooks on the board, or through press buttons or a bead along the edge of the padding, the outline of which matches that of the board. The bead grips the ironing board.
