Abstract

The invention relates to an ironing board covering comprised of a top layer (15) and of an elastic padding (4), which is adapted to the shape of the ironing board (1). The padding (4), on its edge (6), has retaining strips (7, 8) at least at the ends (13, 14) of the padding . The padding (4) is fastened to the ironing board (1) in an exchangeable manner by means of these retaining strips.
