Patents Act 2003 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION INNOVATION PATENT ONE AND/OR TWO-DOSE CONDIMENT TUBE WITH STIRRER The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of using it known to me.
ONE AND/OR TWO DOSE CONDIMENT TUBE WITH STIRRER
DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to convenience of supplying approximately 'one and/or two metric' teaspoon dose of condiment and stirrer' in one small tube, respectively. In the case of the 'two-dose tube', an indication of amount used is visible to the user as a continuous line and the words '1 tsp are printed on a partially transparent material (the tube).
The method of using the tube is by holding it upright and tearing off the top (as indicated in words above the broken line). The user then has access to the contents of the tube, and can easily, by holding the tube upright, pull out the stirrer, and pour out the granulated condiment as required.
For many people, purchasing a hot beverage such as coffee or tea involves handling up to four or so separate items; ie an average of two sachets of sweetener, a stirrer and the hot cup of liquid.
The 'condiment' packed within the tube' may include any other granulated product other than sugar, such as artificial sweetener or coffee, dairy or non dairy coffee or tea whitening powder, soup related product etc. The 'stirrer', which may be in the form of a wooden or plastic spoon, ice cream stick.
The aim of this invention is to eradicate the problem of handling the various fiddly items during a purchase and instead, provide the customer with one handy and hygenic tube containing all necessary units. These problems are overcome by the present invention as the tube, combining the function of two condiment sachet/s and the stirrer, no longer treats the items and their functions separately.
Also, for the convenience of displaying and storing and the 'tubes', as a package housing the condiment and stirrers in one, eradicates additional requirements for each separate item contained within the tube.
The matter of hygeine is also an issue. The condiment and stirrer come hygenically packaged in the tube, and the user can feel confident that the items contained in the 'tube' are clean.
Obvoiusly, several modifications, additions, adjustments, variartions and/or substitutions could be made to the illustrative embodiment previously described in an explanatory but not limiting way, without falling out of the scope of protection as also recited in the following appended claims.
IN THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 indicates shows one example of the "Two dose condiment tube with stirrer" according to this invention.
Figure 2 indicates the application allowing access to the stirrer and condiment contained within the tube.
Figure 3 indicates the function of both the stirrer, and visible indication of remaining condiment in the tube.
Claims (4)
1. The "tube" (identified as the container produced housing the condiment and stirrer) provides the user with approximately 'one and/ or two metric' teaspoons of condiment with the indication of amount used printed on the tube in the form of a continuous line and the words '1 tsp' (in the case of the two dose tube).
2. The tube, as claimed in claim 1, is made up of a material that is partially transparent, acting as a visible means for indicating the amount of condiment remaining in the tube.
3. A method of using the tube, as claimed in any of claims 1 or 2, comprising the steps of holding the tube upright and tearing off the top of the tube. Allowing access to the contents of the tube.
4. A method of using the tube, as claimed in claim 3, comprising a further step of pulling the stirrer out of the tube and can easily, pour out the condiment in the quanity as required. A "One and Two dose condiment tube with stirrer" substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
