This burner comprises on the one hand a support (2) in the form of a hollow and opening piece comprising a central well (6) forming an intake pipe for secondary air and delimiting with the wall (7) of the hollow piece an annular chamber (8) supplied with a mixture of gas and primary air, and on the other hand a head (1) constituted by three superposed and removable elements comprising a ring (3) resting on the support (2) while leaving between it and this support an annular space which communicates with the chamber (8) to allow the outlet of a pilot flame, a first disc (4) resting on the ring (3) to form outlet orifices for gas and comprising a central sleeve (16) which interacts with the central well (6), and a cover plate (5) resting in a spaced manner on the disc (4) and comprising a centring shaft (19) which penetrates into the sleeve (16) and into the central well (6) of the support (2) while allowing the secondary air to pass under the cover plate (5).
