Abstract

An installation for separating volatile liquids from water mixed with such liquids is designed as a liquid-tight container with an inlet for the water mixed with volatile liquid located at the level of or above the clear water outlet and a liquid-tight collecting vessel integrated in the container for the volatile liquid floating in the container. The collecting vessel has an access for the volatile liquid located at the level of or below the container inlet and a rising pipe (32) that ends in a outlet and is mounted before the clear water outlet, seen from the bottom of the container. A rod assembly (33) provided at its free end with the closure body (37) for the rising pipe (32) extends through the rising pipe (32) which ends in a bellows (321). The free end of the bellows (321) is suspended from the rod assembly (33), which in turn is suspended from an arm of a rocker (34) installed on the container (12) and whose other arm is provided with a floating body (36) which dips into the volatile liquid floating in the container (12). The overflow of the bellows (321) defines the normal liquid level in the container (12).
