UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE SILIBININA LIBRE DE ISOSILIBINA DE FORMULA I, QUE COMPRENDE: (1) ROMPER EL FRUTO SECO DE SILYBUM MARIANUM L. GAERTN POR PRESION LIBERANDO EL ACEITE GRASO;(2) EXTRAER EL RESIDUO, CON ACETATO DE ETILO; (3) EVAPORAR EL ACETATO DE ETILO; (4) DISOLVER EL RESIDUO CON UNA MEZCLA DE SOLVENTE DE 95 PARTES POR PESO DE METANOL, 5 PARTES POR PESO DE AGUA Y 100 PARTES POR PESO DE ETER DE PETROLEO DE EBULLICION 40- 60°C;(5)CENTRIFUGAR;(6)SOMETER EL RESIDUO SECO EN ESTE SISTEMA SOLVENTE A UNA PARTICION UNIFORME Y LA RELACION DE VOLUMEN FLUYENTE SEA IGUALA 1:1;(7)AISLAR DE LA FASE INFERIOR, POR EVAPORACION HASTA SEGUEDAD, OBTENIENDO EL 70 A 80% DE UNA MEZCLA DE POLIHIDROXIFENILCROMANONA COMO POLVO AMARRONADO. SE PURIFICA:(A)SUSPENDER EL POLVO EN3 A 5 PARTES DE METANOL HIRVIENTE O EN 0,5 A 1,5 PARTES DE ACETATO DE ETILO CON AGUA;(B)CONCENTRAR LA SUSPENSION METANOLICA Y DEJARLA REPOSAR;(C)SEPARAR EL PRECIPITADO DEL SOLVENTE;(D)LAVAR Y SECAR EL PRECIPITADO;(E)D ISOLVER EN 30 A 60 PARTES DE ACETATO DE ETILO SECO;(F)PURIFICAR CON CARBON ACTIVADO;(G)SEPARAR EL CARBON ACTIVADO;(H)CONCENTRAR LA SOLUCION HASTA UN DECIMO DE SU VOLUMEN;(I)MEZCLAR EL CONCENTRADO CON UN DECIMO DEL CONCENTRADO METANOLICO OBTENIDO EN (C)O CON 0,5 A 0,8 PARTES DE ACETATO DE ETILO SATURADO CON AGUA;(K)DEJAR REPOSAR; (L) SEPARAR LA SIBILININA POR FILTRAON;(M)LAVAR Y SECAR.
