Abstract

Se provee información genética sobre stevia. La presente invención provee un método de selección de una planta de stevia que comprende por lo menos una de las características químicas (a) a (r), que comprende un paso de detectar en el genoma de una planta de stevia de prueba la presencia y/o la ausencia de por lo menos una de las características genéticas (1) a (3), etc. Reivindicación 1: Un método de selección de una planta de stevia que comprende por lo menos una de las siguientes características químicas (a) a (r), caracterizado porque comprende un paso de detectar en el genoma de una planta de stevia de prueba la presencia y/o la ausencia de por lo menos una de las siguientes características genéticas (1) a (3): (1) Heterocigosis u homocigosis para el alelo en el cual la base en la posición correspondiente a la posición 184 de la SEQ ID Nº 1 es G, (2) Heterocigosis u homocigosis para el alelo en el cual la base en la posición correspondiente a la posición 170 de la SEQ ID Nº 2 es C, (3) Heterocigosis u homocigosis para el alelo en el cual la base en la posición correspondiente a la posición 92 de la SEQ ID Nº 3 es C; (a) La relación entre el contenido de rebaudiósido (Reb) M y de RebD es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (b) La relación entre el contenido de RebB y de RebE es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (c) La relación entre el contenido de RebG y de RebE es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (d) La relación entre el contenido de RebG y de esteviósido es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (e) El contenido de RebA es elevado en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (f) El contenido de RebB es elevado en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (g) El contenido de RebF es elevado en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (h) El contenido de RebG es elevado en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (i) El contenido de RebM es elevado en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (j) El contenido de un glucósido de esteviol que tiene un enlace b-1,3-glucósido es elevado en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (k) El contenido de RebD es bajo en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (l) El contenido de RebE es bajo en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (m) El contenido de RebN es bajo en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (n) El contenido de esteviósido es bajo en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (o) El contenido de un glucósido de esteviol que no tiene un enlace b-1,3-glucósido es bajo en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (p) La relación entre el contenido de cualquiera entre RebA, RebB, RebF, RebG y RebM y cualquiera entre RebD, RebE, RebN y esteviósido es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (q) La relación entre el contenido de un glucósido de esteviol que tiene un enlace b-1,3-glucósido y un glucósido de esteviol que no tiene un enlace b-1,3-glucósido es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3); (r) La relación entre el contenido de un glucósido de esteviol producido por UGT76G1 a partir de su sustrato de glucósido de esteviol y el sustrato glucósido de esteviol de UGT76G1 es alta en comparación con una planta de stevia que no comprende ninguna de las características genéticas (1) a (3).
