Abstract
La presente se refiere a un procedimiento de reciclaje de pilas eléctricas usadas o desechadas de tipo portátiles que comprenden componentes reciclables tales como hierro, zinc, manganesos, cobre y carbono fijo y volátil, y metales pesados y compuestos peligrosos. El procedimiento se caracteriza porque las pilas gastadas o desechadas se introducen como carga en un horno de fusión de metal tipo fundición (1, 40, 44), como por ejemplo, un cubilote, un horno de arco libre o un horno de inducción, y porque se prevé en la vía de evacuación de los gases calientes de salida del horno de fusión, un dispositivo (16, 23) de purificación de los gases para captar y eliminar los elementos nocivos como el mercurio, los cloruros, incluso fluoruros y las moléculas pesadas como las dioxinas, furanos y aromáticas. La presente se puede utilizar para el reciclado de pilas usadas o desechadas.
