Abstract

Reivindicacion 1: Una composicion farmacéutica, caracterizada porque comprende multiples micropartículas que contienen droga en dosis elevada/dosis reducida, en donde las micropartículas que contienen droga comprenden: (a) un nucleo que comprende una droga en dosis elevada; (b) un primer recubrimiento dispuesto sobre el nucleo, que comprende una droga en dosis reducida; y (c) un segundo recubrimiento dispuesto sobre el nucleo, que comprende un polímero insoluble en agua. Reivindicacion 19: La composicion farmacéutica de la reivindicacion 18, caracterizada porque además comprende un tercer recubrimiento dispuesto sobre el primer recubrimiento, en donde el tercer recubrimiento comprende un polímero insoluble en agua que es el mismo polímero insoluble en agua del segundo recubrimiento, o uno diferente. Reivindicacion 24: La composicion farmacéutica de la reivindicacion 1, caracterizada porque además comprende un recubrimiento de un saborizante dispuesto sobre el primer recubrimiento, en donde dicho recubrimiento de un saborizante comprende un endulzante. Reivindicacion 33: La composicion farmacéutica de la reivindicacion 32, caracterizada porque la droga en dosis elevada comprende acetaminofeno, y la droga en dosis reducida comprende hidrocodona. Reivindicacion 36: La composicion farmacéutica de la reivindicacion 28, caracterizada porque la droga en dosis elevada es metformina, y la droga en dosis reducida se selecciona del grupo que consiste de glipizida, gliburida, glimepirida, repaglinida, nateglinida, rosiglitazona, pioglitazona y troglitazona.
