Abstract
Un molde y un método para colar una parte, en los cuales las superficies de colada del molde, que incluyen recovecos y grietas, están delimitadas por superficies picadas del molde, teniendo las superficies picadas del molde, vacíos superficiales en ellas que son lo suficientemente pequenos para impedir que el metal fundido ingrese en los mismos; sin embargo, cuando el metal fundido es vertido en el molde que tiene las superficies picadas el metal fundido se solidifica por arriba de la superficie picada sin ingresar en las picaduras de la superficie del molde, pero al mismo tiempo el metal fundido fluye impecablemente por sobre la totalidad de las superficies del molde, recovecos y fisuras estructurales inclusive, de manera de formar un producto colado que se halla sustancialmente exento de vacíos y fisuras. Reivindicación 16: El molde de acuerdo con la reivindicación 14, en el cual la cavidad de la parte de batería contiene entrantes y crestas que forman recovecos y grietas en la superficie del molde.
