Abstract

Método para la extracción y aislamiento de proantocianidinas a partir de material biológico. El método incluye los pasos de extracción en agua calientedel material con posterioridad al triturado usando para ello agua desoxigenada; separación delo s sólidos de licor; concentración del licor en una soluciónconcentrada para obtener un producto sólido. El agua caliente puede ser reciclada. El residuo es un sub-producto reutilizable y el tanino puedeextraerse del flujo rico en tanino.El m aterial biológico preferido es la corteza de los árboles Pinus radiata de 15 anos de edad, la corteza máspreferentemente proviene de la parte superior del árbol.
