Abstract
Skadelige gasser som forlater det tørre herdkammeret (112) til en metallgjenvlnnlngsovn (102) mates til en forbrenner (106), hvor den brennes ved høy temperatur med oksygen. Den varme, rene ekshaustgassen føres til badkammeret (111) til ovnen (102). Dette arrangementet sparer typisk 60% av brennstoffkostnadene. Ytter- ligere, siden røyken resirkuleres, vil ekshaustut- slippet til atmosfæren reflektere tilførselen av brennstoff og oksygen. Dette kan være nesten 1/18 av et konvensjonelt anlegg, slik at filter og/eller vaske- kapaslteten og størrelsen kan reduseres. Dette arrangementet er spesielt fordelaktig med hensyn til brennstofforbruk og beskyttelse av miljøet. Metaller kan resirkuleres i en installasjon som gir Ilte forurensning og som anvender varmen som er tilgjengelig i avfallsmaterlalet for å spare brennstoff.
