Oppfinnelsen vedrører en støpt komponent med høy mekanisk styrke ved varme-prosessering og med høy krypefasthet ved 230-380(C, dannet av aluminiumlegering bestående av (vekt%): Mg: < 0,1, og foretrukket 0,03; Si: 4,5 - 10; Cu: 2,0 - 5,0 og foretrukket 3,0 - 4,0; Ni: < 0,4 og foretrukket < 0,1; Ti: 0,05 - 0,25 og foretrukket 0,08 - 0,2O; Zr: 0,05 - 0,25 og foretrukket 0,12 - 0,2O; Fe < 0,9 og foretrukket < 0,3; Zn < 0,3 og foretrukket < 0,1; eventuelt V: 0,02 - 0,30 og foretrukket 0,04 - 0,2O; Mn: 0,1 - 0,5, foretrukket 0,15 0,40; Hf, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo og/eller W: 0,03 - 0,30 andre elementer < 0,10 hver og < 0,30 totalt, resten aluminium.
