Abstract
The invention provides a nonwoven fabric containing heat fusible conjugate fibers composed of a first resin component and a second resin component having a higher melting temperature than the first resin component. The nonwoven fabric has fusion bonds formed by fusion of the heat fusible conjugate fibers in contact with each other. The nonwoven fabric has a first surface and a second surface. The first surface has portions where the heat fusible conjugate fibers are fixed to each other in parallel relation. The first surface has a ratio (percentage) of the number of the portions where the fibers are fixed in parallel relation to the number of the fusion bonds 5% to 30%. Preferably, the ratio (percentage) is higher in the first surface then in the second surface.
