Abstract
Un dispositivo de descontaminacion de aire que comprende un generador (20) de corriente de aire, un filtro (22) de plasma no termico, un dispositivo (24) emisor de radiacion ultravioleta, un dispositivo '26) catalizador de ozono, y un emisor (28) de hidrocarburo. El generador (20) de corriente de aire genera y dirige una corriente de aire a traves o por el filtro (22) de plasma no termico, el dispositivo (24) emisor de radiacion UV, el dispositivo (26) de catalizador de ozono, y el emisor (28) de hidrocarburo. El filtro (22) de plasme produce radicales libres mediante los cuales se neutralizan los contaminantes en la corriente de aire. El dispositivo (24) emisor de radiacion UV descompone el ozono en la corriente de aire, catalizada por el dispositivo (26) catalizador de ozono. El emisor (28) de hidrocarburo descarga un hidrocarburo aromatico en la corriente de aire para reaccionar de preferencia con el ozono residual de tal forma que la corriente de aire se vuelve adecuada para exposicion humana.
