Abstract

Un filamentos de refuerzo de vidrio, la composicion del cual comprende los siguientes constituyentes, dentro de los limites definidos posteriormente, expresados como porcentajes en peso: SiO2 de 50 a 60%, preferentemente SiO2 = 52% y/o SiO2 = 57%; Al2O3 de 10 a 19%, preferentemente Al2O3 = 13% y/o Al2O3 = 17%; B2O3 de 16 a 25%; ZrO2 de 0.5 a 1.5%; Na2O = 1.5%, preferentemente Na2O = 0.8%; K2O = 1.5%, preferentemente K2O = 0.8%; R2O = 2%, preferentemente R2O =1%; CaO = 10%; MgO = 10%; F de 0 a 2%; TiO2 de 0 a 3%; RO de 4 a 15%, preferentemente RO = 6% y/o RO = 10%; y Varios = 3%, en donde R2O=Na2O+K2O+Li2O, y RO= CaO + MgO. Las propiedades dielectricas de tales composiciones de vidrio son particularmente ventajosas en los rangos MHz y GHz.
