Abstract
Se expone una preparacion de opioides para administracion pulmonar en el tratamiento o manejo del dolor, un dispositivo para suministro de farmacos pulmonares que la contienen, el metodo de administracion, el equipo que la contiene, y los usos de la misma. La preparacion contiene al menos un opoide de inicio rapido y de referencia contiene tambien un opiode de efecto sostenido para reducir la frecuencia de administracion. La invencion emplea los efectos secundarios de la preparacion de opioides para permitir que los pacientes se auto-moderen en la ingestion del farmaco, evitando con esto la toxicidad mientras que alcancen la analgesia. Se emplea un modelo farmacocinetico y farmacodinamico para determinar las preparaciones optimas del farmaco y los parametros optimos para la administracion.
