Abstract

La invencion se refiere a derivados heterocilicos sustituidos de carbonilo que presentan un enlace selectivo con receptores D3 de la dopamina. En otro aspecto, la invencion se refiere a un metodo para el tratamiento de trastornos del sistema nervioso central asociados con la actividad de receptor D3 de la dopamina en un paciente que requiere de dicho tratamiento, que comprende la administracion al sujeto de una cantidad terapeuticamente efectiva de dichos compuestos para mitigar dicho trastorno. Los trastornos del sistema nervioso central que pueden ser tratados con estos compuestos incluyen trastornos piscoticos, dependencia de sustancias, abuso de sustancias, trastornos disquimericos (por ejemplo, enfermedad de Parkinson, parkinsonismo, disquinesia tardia inducida por neurolepticos, sindrome de Gilles de la Tourette asi como enfermedad de Huntington), demencia, trastornos de ansiedad, trastornos del sueno, trastornos del ritmo circadiano asi como trastornos del humor. La presente invencion se enfoca tambien hacia procesos para la preparacion de los compuestos descritos aqui y a metodos para preparar y utilizar los compuestos como agentes de formacion de imagen para receptores D3 de la dopamina.
