Abstract

Una composición descongestionante oral que comprende un vasoconstrictor de aminofenilalcanol en una matriz masticable sólida de ingredientes de vehículo farmacéuticamente aceptable, y en donde el vasoconstrictor de aminofenilalcanol está presente en la forma de un precomplejo con un policarboxilato polimérico, el precomplejo siendo separable en un medio que tiene un pH en la escala de 4.5 a 6.8 con liberación del vasoconstrictor de aminofenilalcanol. La composición descongestionante oral exhibe características de absorción mejoradas y condescendencia mayor al paciente.
