Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a nuevos procedimientos para la preparación de nuevos compuestos de las fórmulas III y VII en donde R y X se definen como se indica a continuación. Los compuestos de las fórmulas VII son útiles como productos intermedios en la síntesis de ácidos azabiciclo quinoleíno carboxílicos que poseen actividad antibacteriana. Igualmente, esta invención se refiere a ciertos productos intermedios nuevos en la síntesis de dichos antibiótico.
