Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un material regenerativo en el campo de regeneración de tejidos conectivos (tales como hueso, dentina o pulpa). Más precisamente, la presente invención se refiere a un material regenerativo de tejido conectivo, preferentemente un material regenerativo de hueso, dentina o pulpa, que comprende: - una matriz polimérica porosa que tiene poros interconectados; y - partículas de silicato de calcio no hidratadas; en donde: dicha matriz polimérica es anhidra; dichas partículas de silicato de calcio no hidratadas tienen una granulometría d50, que preferentemente varía de 0.05 µm a menos del tamaño de diámetro promedio de los poros de la matriz; y dichas partículas de silicato de calcio no hidratadas se recubren en las paredes interiores de los poros de la matriz. La presente invención también se refiere a un método para preparar dicho material regenerativo de tejido conectivo. La presente invención también se refiere a los usos de dichos materiales regenerativos, tales como por ejemplo en el campo dental; especialmente, para proporcionar materiales regenerativos con propiedades biomecánicas y osteoinductoras mejoradas (i.e., buena migración, adhesión y proliferación de células; propiedades mecánicas mejoradas y biodegradabilidad óptima y controlada).
