Abstract
La invención se refiere al campo de la protección de documentos de seguridad tales, como por ejemplo, billetes de banco y documentos de identidad contra su falsificación y reproducción ilegal. En particular, la presente invención proporciona procesos para producir capas de efecto óptico (OELs - optical effect layers) sobre un sustrato y OELs obtenidas a partir del mismo, dicho proceso comprende dos etapas de orientación magnética: una etapa de exposición de una composición de recubrimiento que comprende partículas de pigmento con forma de plaquetas, magnéticas o magnetizables, a un campo magnético dinámico de un primer dispositivo generador de campo magnético a fin de orientar biaxialmente al menos una parte de las partículas de pigmento con forma de plaquetas, magnéticas o magnetizables, y una etapa de exposición de la composición de recubrimiento a un campo magnético estático de un segundo dispositivo generador de campo magnético, reorientando así monoaxialmente al menos una parte de las partículas de pigmento con forma de plaquetas, magnéticas o magnetizables.
