Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a ácidos nucleicos mejorados en cuanto a la expresión de interleucina-15 (IL-15) en células mamíferas. La invención proporciona además métodos para expresar IL-15 en células mamíferas al transfectar la célula con una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos que codifica una secuencia de IL-15 mejorada. La presente invención proporciona además vectores de expresión y combinaciones de IL-15 y receptor alfa de IL-15 (ácidos nucleicos y proteína) que incrementan la estabilidad y potencia de IL-15 in vitro e in vivo. Los métodos presentes son útiles para la biodisponibilidad incrementada y efectos biológicos de IL-15 después de la administración de ADN, ARN o proteína en un sujeto (por ejemplo, un mamífero, un humano).
