Abstract

Un proceso para medir el desgaste de un revestimiento refractario (1) de un receptáculo (2), propuesto para contener metal fundido, el cual comprende las etapas de: escanear una primera superficie (4A) del revestimiento refractario con el uso de un primer escáner láser (21A) con el fin de obtener un primer grupo inicial de datos representativo de la primera superficie: escanear una segunda superficie (4B) del revestimiento refractario con el uso de un segundo escáner láser (21B), diferente del primer escáner láser, con el fin de obtener un segundo grupo inicial de datos, representativo de la segunda superficie, en donde la segunda superficie incluye una zona (6B) gris para el primer escáner láser, el receptáculo define un obstáculo (3) ubicado entre el primer escáner láser y la zona gris durante el escaneo por el primer escáner láser; y calcular un grupo final de datos con el uso del primer grupo inicial de datos y el segundo grupo inicial de datos, el grupo final de datos es representativo de una superficie (4) del revestimiento refractario que incluye la primera superficie y la segunda superficie.
