Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para elaborar ácido acrílico a partir de dextrosa, que comprende fermentar dextrosa; retirar solidos del caldo de fermentación resultante; retirar ácido láctico del caldo clarificado mediante extracción en un disolvente orgánico; retirar por separación el disolvente orgánico cargado de ácido Láctico mientras se recircula al menos una parte del residuo a la etapa de fermentación; pacer reaccionar el ácido Láctico con amoniaco para proporcionar una alimentación de deshidratación que comprende lactato de amonio mientras se recircula preferiblemente el disolvente orgánico; llevar a cabo una deshidratación en fase vapor del lactato de amonio para producir un producto de Ácido acrílico en bruto; y purificar el ácido acrílico en bruto mediante destilación seguida por cromatografía, cristalización en estado fundido a tanto cromatografía como cristalización en estado fundido.
