Abstract
Se divulga un método implementado en computadora para utilizar un articulador virtual dinámico (208) para simular la oclusión de los dientes (206) cuando se realiza el diseño asistido por computadora de una o más restauraciones dentales para un paciente, donde el método comprende las etapas de: - proporcionar el articulador virtual (208) que comprende un modelo tridimensional virtual de la mandíbula superior (204) y un modelo tridimensional virtual de la mandíbula inferior (205) que se asemeja a la mandíbula superior (204) y la mandíbula inferior (205), respectivamente, de la boca del paciente; -proporcionar movimiento de la mandíbula superior virtual (205) y la mandíbula inferior virtual (205) con relación entre sí para simular la oclusión dinámica, mediante lo cual ocurren las colisiones entre los dientes en la mandíbula superior virtual (204) y la mandíbula inferior virtual (205); donde en el método además comprende: - proporcionar que los dientes (206) en la mandíbula superior virtual (204) y la mandíbula inferior virtual (205) se bloqueen de penetrar las superficies virtuales entre sí en las colisiones.
