Abstract

Grasas complejas de carboxilatos de metal alcalinotérreo preparados a partir de la reacción de una sal de metal alcalinotérreo sobrebasificada de un ácido graso, en donde la sal de metal alcalinotérreo tiene un contenido alcalino de por lo menos 14.5% y un contenido en materia no volátil de por lo menos el 95% con agentes de conversión para formar un precursor de la grasa. El precursor de la grasa reacciona luego con los agentes complejantes para formar predominantemente vaterita que contiene grasa compleja de carboxilato de metal sobrebasificado modificado no Newtoniano.
