Abstract
La invenci?n se refiere a un dispositivo de mezcla de gases (10) para un sistema de manejo de las v?as respiratorias. El dispositivo tiene una c?mara alargada (C) con un primer orificio de entrada de gas (1P) que est? dispuesto para el ingreso de aire atmosf?rico (AA) dentro de la c?mara, el primer orificio de entrada est? colocado en una secci?n de extremo de la c?mara interna. Adem?s, un segundo orificio de entrada de gas (2P) est? dispuesto para el ingreso de gas (G) dentro de la c?mara (C), el segundo orificio de entrada de gas tiene un inyector (INJ) desde el cual el gas puede salir al interior de la c?mara con una direcci?n de inyecci?n (ID), la direcci?n de inyecci?n tiene una proyecci?n (ID_proj) que est? dirigida de manera opuesta con relaci?n a una direcci?n de insumo (F) del primer orificio de entrada de gas (lP) para proporcionar la mezcla del aire atmosf?rico y el gas. Opuesto al primer orificio de entrada de gas (1P) se encuentra un orificio de respiraci?n (3P) para permitir que un individuo respire a trav?s del dispositivo de mezcla de gases. El dispositivo es ben?fico ya que la resistencia de la respiraci?n es relativamente baja mientras que el dispositivo proporciona simult?neamente una mezcla suficiente de los gases a ser mezclados. Adicionalmente, la invenci?n proporciona un dispositivo de mezcla de gases relativamente compacto el cual facilita la integraci?n sencilla dentro de por ejemplo una mascarilla de respiraci?n para mediciones del par?metro respiratorio de un individuo, por ejemplo un paciente.
