Abstract
La invención define una superficie de un implante metálico a base de titanio destinado a ser insertado en tejido óseo que comprende óxido de titanio sustancialmente puro y que tiene un espesor de 8-50 nm. Asimismo, la invención define un procedimiento para obtenerla, así como el implante metálico que la presenta. Dicha superficie presenta una buena rugosidad micrométrica, así como una composición prácticamente libre de impurezas y un espesor que es aproximadamente el triple del espesor de las superficies convencionales, características que le confieren muy buenas propiedades de osteointegración.
