Abstract
La invención se refiere a un líquido de recubrimiento, el cual contiene cuando menos: un líquido portador, cuando menos un material refractario en polvo, y cuando menos un agente de reducción. Si un molde de fundición se recubre con el líquido de recubrimiento, se obtienen condiciones reductoras mediante el agente reductor en las superficies colindantes entre el molde de fundición y el metal líquido, con lo cual se puede reducir la formación de gas, de tal forma que como condición se producen menos burbujas de aire en el metal. Especialmente como agente reductor se utiliza un formador de carbón brillante.
