Abstract

Un molde de arena verde para fundición que comprende al menos un par de partes de molde de arena verde que cada una tiene una porción de cavidad, que son apiladas con sus porciones de cavidad alineadas para formar una cavidad receptora de fundido de metal; cada una de las partes del molde de arena verde es formada por arena para fundición que contiene un aglutinante y agua; una capa de recubrimiento a base de resina de endurecimiento que es formada en al menos la porción de cavidad de cada parte del molde de arena verde; la capa de recubrimiento tiene poros permeables al gas que tienen suficiente permeabilidad para permitir que un gas generado al verter un fundido de metal escape; y un contenido de agua en una capa superficial que incluye la capa de recubrimiento en un margen desde la superficie de cavidad para la profundidad de 5 mm que es menor que la de la porción interior del molde de arena verde.
