Abstract

El chamuscado es inhibido durante la reticulación de radicales libres de un polímero reticulable, por ejemplo, un EPDM, al incorporar en el polímero antes del procesamiento por fusión y reticulación, una cantidad inhibidora de chamuscado de un derivado, de preferencia un derivado de éter, éster o uretano, de un compuesto de TEMPO, por ejemplo, 4-hidroxi-tetrahidrocarbilpipe ridiri-1-oxilo.
