Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la produccion de un hilo de multifilamento de sulfuro de polifenileno, un hilo de multifilamento de sulfuro de polifenileno y el uso de un hilo de multifilamento de sulfuro de polifenileno; el procedimiento para producir un hilo de multifilamento de sulfuro de polifenileno se caracteriza en que solamente despues de un periodo de tiempo entre 0.1 seg y 0.3 seg despues de dejar al hilatura los filamentos de la hebra hilada se someten a una etapa de enfriamiento activo; el hilo de multifilamento de sulfuro de polifenileno tiene una densidad lineal de filamento de 5 dtex a 30 dtex, una densidad total lineal de 500 dtex a 2500 dtex, una fuerza por densidad linear unitaria en la escala de 50 cN/dtex a 80 cN/dtex, y un alargamiento a la ruptura de 8% a 16% para un hilo con una fuerza por densidad linear unitaria en la escala de 60 cN/dtex a 80 cN/dtex y un alargamiento a la ruptura de 16% a 30% para un hilo con una fuerza por densidad linear unitaria en la escala de 50 cN/dtex a 60 cN/dtex.
