Abstract

La presente invencion describe composiciones y metodos para tratar, prevenir y mejorar la apariencia de la piel, particularmente, tratar, prevenir, aminorar, reducir y/o eliminar la perdida de grasa subcutanea en la piel, en donde las composiciones incluyen constituyentes de plantas naturales que estimulan la sintesis de lipidos. Los extractos de plantas son preferiblemente derivados de Rhinacanthus nasutus, Humulus scandens, Sesbania grandiflora, Amorphophallus campanulatu, Pouzolzia pentandra y Piper betel, y cualquier de las combinaciones de las mismas. Las composiciones se aplican preferiblemente a la piel, o se suministran mediante medios dirigidos, a un sitio en necesidad de las mismas.
