Abstract

Se describen modalidades para metodos de asignacion de ancho de banda, detectar interferencia con otros sistemas, y/o re-desplegar en ancho de banda alterno; los canales de ancho de banda superior pueden ser desplegados en limites de canal (410), los cuales son un subconjunto de aquellos para canales de ancho de banda inferior (310), y se pueden restringir contra el traslape; la interferencia se puede detectar (930) en canales primarios, secundarios o una combinacion de canales, y se puede detectar en respuesta a mediciones de energia (910) de varios canales; cuando se detecta la interferencia, un Conjunto de Servicio de Ancho de Banda Basico (BSS) (100) superior se puede reasignar a un canal alterno, o puede tener su ancho de banda reducido para evitar interferencia; la interferencia se puede detectar en base en la energia medida en el canal primario o secundario, y/o una diferencia entre los dos; se puede utilizar una FFT (1010) en la medicion de energia en cualquiera o ambos de los canales primario y secundario; las estaciones tambien pueden monitorear mensajes provenientes de sistemas alternos para tomar decisiones de asignacion de canal; tambien se presentan otros diversos aspectos.
