Extremely disappointing experience
My package containing a necklace worth 180€ was delivered successfully on February 5th according to the tracking information. However, after the parcel arrived, I received absolutely no update or notification from the company for weeks.
The only reason I found out something was wrong is because I contacted them myself after waiting for an unusually long time with no check-in or communication. Only then did they finally respond and tell me that my package had apparently been lost internally.
From that point onward, communication became incredibly frustrating:
* emails were repeatedly ignored,
* responses often took days or weeks,
* and I constantly had to follow up myself just to get any information at all.
I provided the original invoice for the necklace showing a value of 180€, and at the time the invoice was only around 2–3 months old. Despite this, I was initially offered only 30€ compensation.
I also provided:
* screenshots and links of comparable items,
* and later even eBay sold listings after additional requests from the company.
Every time I submitted what they asked for, new requirements were suddenly added afterwards instead of resolving the issue.
What makes this even more frustrating is that Arcavindi advertises insured parcels on their website, yet this was never properly addressed when discussing compensation for my lost package.
I also attempted to settle the matter fairly by offering to accept 100€ as a compromise, but this proposal was completely ignored as well, with no reply at all.
What disappoints me most is not only the loss of my property, but the complete lack of proactive communication and the feeling of being ignored throughout the entire process. It has been four month now and the problem is still not resolved.
