Lucky To Be Alive After Taking TourExpress

This was the scariest experience please stay away from this company. When booking my trip back to Montreal from Ottawa, I thought I was booking a coach bus until a minivan rolled up instead. Which is totally fine, if the driver wasn’t completely reckless. I’m not sure if the driver was under the influence or had a medical condition but the entire car ride, but we were constantly swerving and nearly got into a few crashes. I started to worry when we got on the highway, and I thought we were going way way too fast. I looked up at the speedometer and pulled one up on my phone, and for the majority of the trip we were going 140kph when the speed limit was 70. This driver was texting while driving, and consistently driving between the lane divider lines and taking up both lanes. So when the occasional car would pass, we would swerve very hard and since we were going so fast, I was scared we would’ve been run off the road. He was driving way too close to the concrete borders on the left side, and there was enough space to fit another vehicle between the two lanes on the highway since we were over the border line. When we got over the bridge onto the island of Montreal, it was no longer possible to pass cars due to more being on the road. So, this driver would follow so closely to other cars that even the slightest move would’ve sent us into a nasty car accident. The car in front of us was slowing down and brake checked the driver who proceeded to slam on the brakes and this happened another two times. When we got off the highway, I started thinking that at least we weren’t going so fast that I could die from a crash anymore. He drove more aggressively than I have ever seen anybody drive downtown and since he was going so fast, he did not see one car that we quickly swerved into the next lane and we got so lucky since the car in said lane had the reflexes to move. Once we arrived at Berri-UQAM, I felt so lucky to be alive and not dead in a ditch in rural Ontario. I have never had to actively fear for my life in a car until now. The entire time I was certain that I would die in this car and I would never recommend this experience to anyone. Just book a real bus for the extra $10. This fear and panic for your life is never worth it.
