My experience with vuxen.se was disappointing from start to finish. The information on the website did not match what customer service later told me, making everything confusing and unnecessarily stressful. The customer service I received from one Sabina, who identified themselves as Customer Service Manager, was unprofessional, dismissive and condescending. Instead of resolving the issue, I was left chasing updates and receiving inconsistent information.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If good customer service and clear communication matter to you, consider shopping elsewhere.

I ordered from vuxen.se (delivery via InstaBox). The order confirmation and their köpvillkor contain zero mention of any identity verification requirement for pickup — not even a hint.

The problem only appeared at the pickup stage: InstaBox required BankID verification, with the message clearly stating this was requested by the seller (Purefun/vuxen.se), not an InstaBox policy. Sabina from vuxen.se customer service tried to frame it as a general delivery company rule ("...BankID is required with box deliveries as there is no personnel to check your ID...") — which is misleading. InstaBox provides the (BankID-only) tool when the seller demands it for security/age reasons. Regardless, my contract is with vuxen.se, not InstaBox, so any extra condition should have been disclosed upfront.

Since I don't use BankID, I cooperated when Sabina requested sending ID instead. I provided a secure cloud link — dismissed curtly with "We will not open any links. You must attach...". I explained the obvious security risks of emailing unencrypted sensitive ID documents; her response was aggressive and threatening: "If you don’t pick up your parcel you will be charged 250 kr for uncollected package", plus condescending lectures about "entering an agreement", "pledging to pick up", and exaggerated 500 kr return costs. The tone was unprofessional and disrespectful — no customer should be spoken to that way.

My final effort — sending a password-protected ZIP and a separate password + formal request (under GDRP) that they immediately delete and destroy any personal data I provided (including the ID copy), after verifying my legal age — received no reply, leaving the block in place. Ironically, InstaBox support proved far more solution-oriented and helpful than the retailer I actually contracted with, allowing me to pick up the parcel.

This is deeply unacceptable: a material seller-enforced condition imposed without any prior disclosure, refusal of reasonable secure alternatives, ignorance of basic data security, and outright rude/threatening communication from Sabina. She urgently needs proper training and attitude adjustment.

I will never order from vuxen.se again. Strongly advise caution — especially if you don't use BankID, or if you value transparent terms, secure processes, and respectful service.

P.S. Your generic reply dodges the issues and misleads. ID (e.g., BankID) isn't needed for safe delivery, fraud prevention or cost reduction — the personal pickup link already ensures correct delivery. The only logical reason is seller-required age verification for adult products (Instabox only activates it on request). Framing it otherwise ignores your lack of prior disclosure, staff's false claims, and refusal of secure alternatives. Until addressed, my verdict stays the same.

UPD: 2026/01/18 After two charges the product stopped working.

No good experience. I ordered a product, that was to be delivered in 2 days. The online tracker showed me every day for more then a week that my order was delayed with another day. I asked both Vuxen and Instabox why this was the case, and they told me that there was a hold up but it will be delivered the next day ( but then it was postponed again)
After a week and a half I wasn’t home anymore for due to a business trip and they wanted to deliver the product at home. I connect with Vuxen several times to explain I cannot receive it anymore and the made me pay for the return proces.
Very bad business if you ask me, since I didn’t receive anything, they never kept their promises they make on their website and me putting in a lot of effort just to communicate with them.
