Extremely disappointing experience with Vintage Suppliers 1989.
I placed order #19545 and part of the merchandise I paid for never reached me. The missing goods are worth approximately 1,732.60 PLN.
The most frustrating part is not even the shipping issue itself, but the way the complaint has been handled.
I first reported the problem on 20 August. Since then, I have repeatedly explained that, according to DPD customer service, two physical parcels were shipped using the same tracking label and one of them was returned to the sender. Despite this, I kept receiving vague responses saying that the case was “being investigated” and that their shipping department was checking with DPD.
Weeks later, I still had no concrete resolution: no replacement shipment, no refund and no clear explanation of what actually happened to the missing merchandise.
I also reported heavily felted, damaged and practically unsellable sweaters from the same order. This complaint has also still not been properly resolved.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I was a returning wholesale customer and had previously placed multiple orders with this company. I genuinely intended to continue buying larger quantities from them.
Instead, I have spent weeks chasing customer service for goods I already paid for.
I eventually had to escalate the matter to the European Consumer Centre in Poland and ACM ConsuWijzer because I could not get a final resolution directly from the company.
For a business presenting itself as “Europe’s No.1 Vintage Premium Wholesaler”, I expected significantly better accountability, communication and after-sales service.
At this point, my advice to other resellers is simple: be extremely careful with large orders, document every parcel you receive, check tracking numbers carefully and keep all correspondence.
I will gladly update this review if Vintage Suppliers 1989 finally resolves the case properly. Until then, based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

Disappointing experience and an expensive lesson
I purchased a number of football shirts from Vintage 1989 just over a year ago, paying approximately £218 including postage. Unfortunately, once I received them and had the opportunity to properly inspect them, I was disappointed with the overall quality and had concerns about the authenticity of a number of the shirts.
I therefore decided to return the entire order. I followed Vintage 1989’s return instructions and sent the parcel back from the UK as a return. Unfortunately, it appears that Dutch customs treated the parcel as a new sale/import rather than returned goods, and a customs charge of around £90 was applied.
I ultimately paid the charge so that the parcel could be released and delivered back to the seller. I was told that the customs charge could be appealed, but later discovered that the appeal had to be made by the recipient, namely Vintage 1989.
To be fair, they were initially very helpful and appeared willing to assist. Unfortunately, communication then effectively stopped and I have since been met with radio silence. It has now been around 12 months. PostNL advised me that these appeals normally take around four to five months.
I cannot say whether Vintage 1989 ultimately received the customs refund, as I simply do not know. However, I have received no meaningful update or resolution despite the length of time that has passed.
What started as a £218 purchase became a considerably more expensive and frustrating experience, despite me following the return process I was given. I am simply sharing my experience so that other buyers, particularly international buyers, can make their own informed decision. For me, it has unfortunately been a very expensive lesson.

Delivery was fast I ordered 10 Tommy Hilfiger shirts only 2 in the box were Tommy Hilfiger the others were different brands 5 shirts had stains on them
The worst…
The shipping is really fast, i ordered a lot of different Things.
When i opened the boxes i was shocked, it all was trash which cant be soled, even A-Grades were absolutley dirty. I order things in Category B/C and it ALL was just C-Grades. I really wouldn‘t recommend to order there.
Bought what was supposed to be 60…
Bought what was supposed to be 60 Baseball Jerseys grade A and adult size.
Instead I got 60 useless items. Stained. Torn. Youthsized. None baseball related which included people's old work shirts with there names still on it. It was basically all unsellable junk.
Worst part about it is this. They told me I could return it but at my own expense so I ended up paying the post for a return
Checked the tracking and they have refused to accept it from the courier.
This company are displaying signs of being scammers and when they read this they had best get back to me about it. Because I will not settle for less than my refund for their box of junk they have sent me. £460+ is alot of money you have taken from me. I want it back!

Absolutely disappointing experience!!!
Absolutely disappointing experience!!!! Would NOT recommend anyone buying from these scammers!
I ordered a bundle of 50 Lauren by Ralph Lauren items based on how the stock was advertised. Unfortunately, when the order arrived, a significant number of the items were in a condition I would not consider reasonably resaleable. I found clothing with large holes, ripped seams, heavy staining/discolouration, fraying and other obvious damage.
What disappointed me even more was the customer service. I contacted the company explaining the situation. When they eventually responded, there was no apology, no acknowledgement of the poor condition of the stock, and no attempt to offer an alternative solution or partial refund. I was simply told that I was welcome to return the items and given a return address.
I understand that vintage/second-hand wholesale clothing will naturally show some signs of wear, and I was not expecting 50 perfect items. However, there is a clear difference between normal vintage wear and garments arriving with substantial stains, holes and damage!

Looking for an extra supplier, never received anything
Looking for an extra supplier, so I gave 1989 a shot. Ordering was easy and the website is clean and well organised.
Delivery is where it went wrong. I paid €14 for fast shipping and chose a locker as the delivery point. The locker turned out to be full, and DPD does not automatically reroute a package somewhere else when that happens. After 7 days and 5 failed delivery attempts, the package was returned.
To be fair, the delivery itself is not why I am writing this review. That is a DPD issue and 1989 can only do so much about it.
What let them down was the response. I emailed them several times to sort this out and got nothing back. No reply, no help, no attempt to resolve it. For a supplier I was hoping to work with regularly, that is the real problem.
Update: got refunded in full

I ordered a 10x Vinted reseller box
I ordered a 10x Vinted reseller box. When I opened the package, I found only two T-shirts and one hoodie that were in wearable condition. The remaining seven items were extremely dirty, and the stains couldn’t be washed out. I do not recommend it.

Great place for vintage resellers
Great place for vintage resellers. Large selection, fair pricing and the handpicking option makes it much easier to find quality pieces. Staff were helpful and the warehouse was well organised. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking to source inventory for Vinted or other resale platforms.
