Good service

I ordered a suitcase from travelite.com directly. The shipment to the Netherlands was quick. Unfortunately, the suitcase didn’t meet our expectations in terms of value/quality.

I followed the return instructions carefully and the return process was relatively quick and smooth. I got my money back. So, I don’t understand the negative reviews/backlash here.

I would recommend ordering directly from Travelite.

Ordered a SmartTag from TravelLite

Ordered a SmartTag from TravelLite. Won't connect to phone. The only thing that connects is the phone. I tried ringing them. There adrees is quoted at Level 1, Suite 1105/241 Adelaide Street, Brisbane. The person I spoke to hasn't heard of this company. Me thinks there is something fishy going on

They do not honour the warranty they provide

Bought a suitcase on Amazon. Wheel broke after few uses. Contacted them directly - no help, sent me to a third party for repair at my own cost. They do not honour the warranty they provide. I am reporting them to the EU trade commission. Travelite is a scam!

Fake Warrenty!

I bought a suitcase of the brand Travelite with 3 years warrenty. When the teleskopic rod handle broke after 2 year. Travelite refused to send me spare parts. The 3 year warrenty was a fake warrenty!

Nice but pray that nothing happens to the suitcase

Hi, 2.5 years ago I purchased a cabin trolley from Travelite (via Amazon). Now, the holder/handle on top of the case broke and the telescope was no longer useable... The warranty period was 3 years, so the damage happened within the warranty period.

The holder was used as it was intented to be used, no special forces or brutal impact appeared... It started to become more and more "shaky" and during one trip it broke - first on one side (which I tried to fix/glue with no sucess) and then it broke on boths sides... I deem this to be of poor material quality - remember, it is a cabin trolley, so there are weight limitations anyway...

I called Travelite, they guided me to their support "Dolfi1920"... While discussingg with them, I handed over photos and a description of what happened and I asked for help - preferable a replacement of the telescope unit in the course of warranty.

They informed me that this damage could NOT be handled as a warranty claim and they offered me a replacement of the telescope unit at cost of EUR 31,00

I know - EUR 31,- is not a big issue, especially as this trolley costs EUR 116,- but I was a bit disappointed about the way this claim was handled... I know how I treated this suitcase and I think, this very exposed part of the suticase is dimensioned waaaaay to weak - so I guess, I might not be the first and only person with such a problem... I would have expected to get a replacement of the telescope unit (which by the way I offerred to install myself...) But NO - they insisted on charging me for that !

Given the value of that suitcase (and I also like the functions), I decided to accept their offer-at-cost but it left me with a bad feeling... And I think, this could have been handled better and more to satisfy the customers (I know - this could be seen differently, but hey - this is my opinion and feeling)... For my next suitcase I will take a much deeper look insto stability of the handle and the telescope as this has to stand a big pressure during the normal use (at airports, on streets, loading/unloading, etc)

So in essence - nice suitcase, good functionality and design, BUT - pray that nothing happens with this suitcase. You will get help and spare parts from an external support (Dolfi1920 - not from Travelite), but do not expect any goodwill ("Kulanz") and expect to be charged even if the damage is more a matter of material which I deemed to be poor in the light of the useage of a suitcase.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality. I am crew and can claim to know much about luggage durability. This is definitely the worst brand I had. Problem is now Lufthansa works with them in matter of replacement bags in case your own bag is damaged! We get so many compains from staff and passengers. Worst quality ever!

I would give them a score of zero if I could

I would give them a score of zero if this was possible. I bought my Travelite Next large aluminium case luggage for nearly Eur 500 in Estonia, but after just two trips, two of the wheels got severely damaged and a third is not far behind.
Before that, I used to own a Carlton suitcase which lasted over 20 yrs of very frequent air travel, but with all wheels as good as new.
I cannot recommend Travelite products. Such an expensive product with such low quality wheels? Garbage.

Do not buy a Travelite suitcase if you…

Do not buy a Travelite suitcase if you live in the UK because you cannot repair it if it is defective. I have a perfectly good suitcase with a broken wheel in warranty and the retailer won't help me. Buy a brand you can be sure to repair in the UK
