Feeling from former Soviet, very teared down place.

To many visitors, totally overcrowded!
No parkingplace for our car, even when we booked with.
Expensive food.
Rude personel working there, totally not understand what a client is. Very few of them speaks English, only German.
Very torn down Hotell and Appartments from the 70-ties. Get the feeling from old Soviet-Union.
Will never go there again and told my friends not go go there.

Rude service

Rude service, poor quality of rooms, too many people in too little space. The worst vacation we have ever been on as a family.

Dear Guest, thank you for visiting Weissenhäuser Strand and for sharing your feedback.

I’m sorry to read that your family’s stay fell short of expectations, especially regarding service, room quality, and the feeling of crowding. If something isn’t right during a stay, please come by our Feedback-Point or let us know right away so we can step in on the spot and improve the experience. We also offer a range of accommodation sizes and styles; our team is happy to help you choose a setup that better matches your space and comfort preferences next time.

Regarding the busy atmosphere: at peak times our popular facilities can feel lively. We are continuously working to keep a good balance between activity and comfort. If you prefer it quieter, consider the off-season months (March–May or September–October) or midweek dates.

We hope you will give us another chance for a more relaxed family break by the sea.

Best regards from the Baltic Sea

Dirty rooms with plastic mattress

Dirty rooms with plastic mattress, arrived at 3 (check in time) the shop on site shuts at 1 meaning we are unable to get supplies for our 2 year old 11 minute drive to closest shop, some activities that you would think would be included in the price cost extra
Definitely won't be returning avoid...

Very noisy at night!

Nice place with plenty of activities for the family/kids. But…We stayed in the apartments near the minigolf, and found it really hard to sleep because of the seagulls screaming ALL NIGHT! You also have to be prepared for the lack of English skills by the people that work there- almost none of them spoke English. It was also annoying that everything costs ekstra, even if you payed ekstra for things to be included in the price…It was absolutely not an all inclusive place.

Not allowed to take anything from buffet for children under 5 year old

I am staying currently at Weissenhauser strand hotel. We booked dinner at restaurant and took two buffets and ordered ala carte for one kid. I have two small children and one 3 years old and another 4 years old. Since we paid for 2 buffets and one ala carte, I took some pancakes and fruits for kids since my kids almost did not eat anything from buffet. But, later we were told by a waitress that we were not allowed to take any food to our hotel room inspite of the fact that our children were small. I guess they are ok to throw away the food which I placed in my plate rather than giving to a child who is staying in their hotel. It was quiet unpleasant and disappointing for a four star hotel treating this way.

Never go there with kids

From a very, very shaken family:

Unfortunately, we experienced a fire alarm during what was supposed to be a cozy evening at the playland. While we understand that such things can happen (and we noted that everything seemed fine, as the place was open the following day), there were significant issues:
The signs around the playland are written in German and Danish. During this fire drill, no announcements were made in English over the loudspeakers – only in German.
Danish guests were heavily overrepresented at the time, yet there were no announcements in Danish or English.
The staff responsible for guiding the evacuation did not understand or speak English either.
The entire situation was chaotic and terrifying.

The following day, we thought to ourselves, "Well, nothing worse could happen now." But, oh, how wrong we were – it turned out to be far worse than we could have ever imagined.

We booked a stay with our two small children, and today we were met with decorations of skulls, axes, and similar imagery covering the walls. Even the indoor playground was draped in black and featured posters of skulls. Furthermore, families with children were unable to get tables for dinner anywhere because all the restaurants were suddenly filled with the same skulls, axes, and imagery that should never be in a child-friendly environment.

When we tried to find alternatives for food and eventually returned to our apartments, we were met with extremely loud heavy metal music – so loud that even three floors apart, we couldn’t hear each other speak. I repeatedly tried calling your service center and knocking on the doors where the music was coming from, but all attempts were in vain!

To top it all off, all the apartments were plastered with posters, black garbage bags, and other inappropriate decorations.

I am completely at a loss for how this could happen without informing families with children beforehand. We would NEVER have booked a stay here if we had known about these circumstances. And now, we will certainly never return.

This entire experience has been grotesque, and I am utterly speechless.

Terrible place - Stay away

Terrible / non-existent service. The staff should be ashamed of themselves. You need to book every time you want to eat - Even though you have paid for Half Pension. If not - Your not getting anything. Outside our apartment construction work was ongoing, the whole time. No room service - With the excuse it’s good for the environment.

We left after only two days.

I could go on. Terrible.

Positive experience ever time

We have been a few times to Weissenhaeuserstrand and every time has been good, it is great to have this option to get away so close to home in Denmark. The staff is friendly, the restaurants clean and we feel safe. Some of the apartments need a bit of a make over but overall is a great place, we plan to come back many more times in the future.

Worst place ever.

Worst place ever.. booked the penthouse for 4 days.. got promised a newly renovated apartment... oh my god.. maby it was renovated in 1980.. but it was terrible..
At there was sand in the beds.. dust in the shelf... an garbage in the sink..

And all the manager had too say was.. why want your money back and drive home.??

Besides that, we had to pay 12€ To get st Childs bed for my 2 year old daughter..
They never came with the bed, and at 22.00 we had to find Scecurity to help us get a bed for her..

Thanks a lot..!!

Took pictures of all the things down here, so if anyone don’t believe, just write me..
