While I can't (yet!) speak for Savills' service more generally, the manager for my particular building (Shikha) has been on top of every problem I've raised and unusually proactive in resolving them.

Oliver H. has been incredibly kind and efficient during my time with him as property manager. He addressed all my concerns swiftly and was extremely lovely during the entire process. I cannot recommend him more highly!
We recently moved into a property managed by Sarah, who has been quick to address the odd teething problem. We are very happy in the property and most grateful to Sarah.
Property managed by Sarah.
We had no real isssues during the tenancy however Sarah was great in helping with whatever was needed.

Roshni has been our Property Manager since December 2025 and we have been very pleased with the service received. We will be sad to see Roshni go and look forward to working with our new Property Manger.
Best wishes Roshni and thank you.

Shikha has been incredibly helpful, organised and responsive. She’s managed to sort out most of the issues with our property after we’d struggled to get things resolved for around six months with our previous property manager.
We really appreciate how quickly she’s picked everything up and kept things moving

Chiswick Savills super helpful. Super responsive. Main contact was George Dean - he is so lovely and property manager - RItesh Gopaul also great. But everyone else I dealt with at this Savills apart from those two, even if brief, was always very nice.

I sold my house in Stamford through James and his team at Savills Stamford. Many agents were competing for the business - I was glad I chose Savills as in a difficult market they provided an efficient and smooth service with excellent communication throughout. Thank you!

I have found all the staff at Savill's, on Fulham Palace Road which is the agency that manages my property, but also all the support personnel in finance etc. absolutely first rate. Their service is professional, reliable, prompt and accurate. Everything you could hope for and especially at a time when being a landlord is becoming more and more complex and complicated.

Savills did a great job both at inception, during tenancy and at the end of it. They have always been proactive to address any item we raised and addressed it promptly. Special thanks to Fiona Wither who has been our main contact.

Shikha was really helpful. My fridge broke down and she liaised with the landlord and several people to get the cupboard out and a new fridge in. I have a busy job and could not co-ordinate being in for all the visits. However Savills are always so helpful in making sure things can happen as quickly as possible. I'm really grateful for the communication and clarity - made a stressful situation much more manageable.

We are landlords who instructed Savills' Maida Vale / St John's Wood office to let and manage a flat in W9 on negotiated terms of 14.4% including VAT — 9.6% letting, 4.8% management. Savills became involved at offer stage on 27 May 2026, the tenancy started on 28 July 2026, and we submitted a formal eight-point complaint on 24 August 2026 — under a month into a tenancy we paid a professional agent to run.
THE TONE. From early on, raising a problem produced not a fix but an explanation of why we had misunderstood something. We were sent a written explanation of why a contractor charges a call-out when he needs to "draw tools from his tool kit" — as though the issue were our grasp of contractor pricing rather than the fact we were never told the visit would be charged at all. When we raised concerns about an agent's communication, we were told in writing that we had also said she replies quickly "when she is on top of her work" — our own words returned as a defence of the service we were complaining about. And when their office failed to let a contractor into our property, the reply suggested that because we made the booking our number was probably on it, that "in hindsight" theirs should have been noted, concluded there was "a slight miss communication on our side" — and offered to split the aborted call-out charge 50/50. We had sent a reminder the night before.
THE FAILURES. Nobody attended to give the pump engineer access on 27 July and a cancellation charge was incurred. The replacement appointment four weeks later was also cancelled — because that charge had not been paid. Neither we nor our tenant, waiting in for it, was warned. Servicing due 27 July was still outstanding over a month later after two failed appointments, both caused by Savills' own administration — and it is potentially the cause of the floor damage we had just paid to repair. Gardening quotes requested mid-July took weeks, came back for the wrong scope, took ten more days to correct — and the work removed vegetation rather than cutting it back as authorised. Tenant-reported maintenance was forwarded to us without assessment, despite investigation being an express part of what the management fee buys. Savills drafted the tenancy agreement and left out part of the agreed furniture-removal list; we relied on their document, and they then pressed us to remedy their drafting error at our own cost. Flooring replies took about three days each, the third quote we requested never arrived, and a week before move-in we were told the tenant could seek compensation if works weren't complete — so we proceeded with a quote we had already said we were unhappy with. An electrician's appointment Savills confirmed they would move past 10am, because our baby was sleeping, went ahead at 9am with the contractor unaware anything had been asked.
THE MONEY. From our first rent payment Savills held two floats of £2,100 when, as they later conceded, only one was needed. We identified it; they released it. Reviewing our landlord statements ourselves, we then found management commission applied at 5% plus VAT — £252 a month — against our agreed 4% plus VAT, £201.60. An overcharge of £50.40 every month. We asked them to correct the rate, refund it, and check the rest of our account.
THE RESPONSE. We asked for a formal response addressing each matter individually. Savills apologised in general terms, said they "do not agree with every aspect" of the complaint, accepted the management termination, declined to release us from the 9.6% letting commission — payable, they say, for as long as the tenant they introduced stays — and offered £50 goodwill for holding our funds longer than necessary. The fee overcharge was not addressed anywhere. Nor were the failed pump appointments, the gardening done contrary to instruction, the uninvestigated maintenance, the flooring delays, or the electrician. Six of eight points unanswered, the commission kept in full, and £50 offered — less than the amount overcharged.
Three months of chasing an agent we were paying to save us exactly that, a tenant let down twice, and money taken above our agreed rate that we found ourselves. Management terminated. Landlords: reconcile every line of every statement. We did, and it is the only reason we know.

I am extremely disappointed with the rental service provided by Savills. They placed a tenant in our property who attempted to leave after just two months, and the information we were given about them was inaccurate. The tenant themselves stated that Savills had misled them, which is deeply concerning.
The rent‑collection process has been equally unacceptable. Savills will not chase rent until it is three days overdue, which is outrageous. Every month I find myself contacting the tenants directly on the day payment is due just to ensure the rent is made. Despite this, Savills still take three to five working days to transfer the rent to us as landlords. On top of this, they charge over £350 simply for collecting late rent.
Overall, I have been far from impressed with their service. It has caused significant stress, and I regret not choosing a different agent.
Update: Savills have responded to my review, dismissing my concerns and insisting they provide a great service. According to them, my experience is “not valid”. This is simply nonsense — they are not listening to what I am saying.
The tenant paid the rent on Tuesday, 25th August, yet by Thursday I still have no update from Savills. I have called repeatedly with no response. I even managed to reach their head office and left a message, but again, nothing. If this is what Savills consider “great service”, I dread to imagine what they classify as poor.
This has been the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am genuinely relieved the tenants are leaving, because now I can finally move on and find a far better estate agent who actually communicates and supports their landlords.
The rent was paid by the tenant on the 25th of August. We received an invoice from Savills on the 27th of August. I went into their office to find out when the money will be on the account. I was told they sent the money on the 27th of August. The money is pending in my account but it will not be in the account until 1st of September. It's ridiculous!!!

I would like to take a moment to recognise how fantastic the Putney branch has been over the past 12 months, and in particular Caroline, who helped us find our dream home.
Throughout the process, we experienced an exceptional level of professionalism, care and genuine commitment from the whole branch. Caroline, in particular, took the time to really understand our needs and preferences. She had an incredible ability to match us with properties that were genuinely right for us, rather than simply showing us what was available.
Her knowledge, understanding and personal approach made the whole experience feel effortless, and we always felt that we were in safe hands.
We would have no hesitation in using the Putney branch again and would highly recommend Caroline and the team to anyone looking to find their next home.

Appalling experience. Savills at Margaret Street cancelled a fully signed, legally binding tenancy agreement just 5 days before move-in because they sold the property. This breach of contract cost me money in non-refundable flights. Agents Natasha Spitz and Mey Hafiz promised to sort out the reimbursement, but then completely ghosted me for over months. Management ignores all formal complaints. While unforeseen circumstances can happen, how can this be justified?

Shan Elario has been extremely helpful and supportive in the whole end of tenancy process. We were stressed and busy with our home move and he made sure that any issues with the end of tenancy were addressed swiftly and resolved to the satisfaction of both us and the landlord. We really appreciate his professionalism and diligence through the entire process.

My brother in law fell ill and we were tasked with selling his property. Where to begin?
We decided the best route was to take the property to auction and contacted Savills.
Our first conversation was with Max Mason, he was familiar with the location of the property and he kindly explained how the auction process worked and followed this up with an email explaining all options available.
From the day the property was listed through to the auction day Max was constantly in touch answering all our queries and guiding us.
Once the hammer fell and thanks to Max guidance we achieved way in excess of what we had hoped for.
We would like to thank Max for his professionalism and courtesy and we would certainly recommend Savills to other potential sellers.
