My journey with Roblox lasted years, and it’s hard to describe the disappointment of seeing one of the world’s most wonderful platforms for creation and socializing destroyed by the choices of the company itself. I created content, developed a game that surpassed 3 million visits, and invested time, passion, and real money.
All of this got wiped out without a shred of respect. I was permanently banned for no valid reason, without having violated any rules, and without a single piece of meaningful information in the details of the violation. Support? A wall of silence and automated responses from bots. No human being to verify the error, no transparency, zero accountability.
​The problem is that Roblox today is no longer what it used to be. Instead of hiring hundreds of human moderators to handle reports, it has delegated everything to a cold, blind, and unreliable artificial intelligence. An automated system that bans randomly destroying years of work by developers and creators, and punishes loyal users while ignoring the platform’s real problems.
​Roblox’s goal is no longer the community, freedom, or genuine creativity: it’s to gain profit, chase the illusion of the “metaverse,” and even promote AI tools that generate games, stripping away all credit from the real developers who sweat over scripting and modelling.
They’ve turned a space for socializing and fun into a soulless corporation run by algorithms.
I’ve therefore decided to quit Roblox for good, and my advice to anyone considering investing their time or money here is to look elsewhere. Erik Cassell would be ashamed of what Roblox has become, and no community should continue to support a company that steps on the people who made it great.

I am absolutely furious with Roblox. Out of nowhere, their broken automated moderation system reset my username, wiped my bio, and deleted my avatar's clothes. The system claimed I was posting "sexual content" and "giving out PII" (personally identifiable information). This is a complete lie There was absolutely no adult content, no one's name was in my bio, and there was zero information leading to anyone.The moderation bots on this platform are completely out of control. They blindly ban and wipe accounts without a real human even looking at the context. You spend time and effort building your profile just for Roblox to destroy it over a glitch. Fix your broken bots and hire real people to review reports. This is insane and unacceptable

I like playing games on Roblox but Roblox needs to ban all brainroted games.

You cant even chat without giving your license to Roblox i just want to play some roleplay games und have fun. And even if you verify your age you can only chat with some people. The Game lost it's life

They are doing the WORST job at making the platform sage for kids.

They implemented AI face scan and put you into age groups to keep the platform "safe". But the problem is that the AI sucks and kids can just draw a fake beard and then they are over 20 years. And the age groups just made it easier for preditors to only be with kids in game. And the thing is, this could easily be fixed.

Roblox is actually BANNING people that are trying to get rid of preditors. I would think that this is because much of the playerbase are preditors.

They also delete good features like the clasic face and clasic t-shirts.

So, hey I never had a problem with the game until i started using money. I had a little blue turtle character... umm yea how did it violate everyone in Roblox? What did it jump through windows and start scaring children? I hope you know since you want to start taking shit my from account you can give me back my 175 robux bro.

This the wost gaming platform for anyone. Their policies protect pedofiles and criminal profiles. When parents are requesting an account deletion for their minor ch they encounter extreme prejudice, refusal and a policy that allows accounts to activate again without prior parent notification. It id amazing that a criminal organization like Roblox is still allowed to function with impunity without any government intervention, and expose our children to online addiction and improper content viewing like pornography. I will contact the FBI to file a case against this company but other parents must do the same. The more people file criminal cases against this company the better our chances to protect our children.

Good service, even if child safety is an huge risk

I would do a zero if i could, I was having lots of fun I had many good pets on adopt me. But i was hacked, Roblox was so extremely unhelpful, made no sense, and kept saying the same thing over and over again so i tried it over and over again nothing worked at all, Horrible horrible game for kids because if you get hacked you will never see your account again roblox will make sure of that for you and that's the only thing they can guarantee.

Our daughter got 50€ giftcard for her birthday and I accidentally activated it on my account instead of hers. So I have 50€ credit that I asked support to transfer from my account to the correct one, the amount was not converted into roblox yet.
After contacting support they put us in giftcard photography photo/proof of purchase loop 3x to just say sorry nothing can be done. A simple matter of taking credit off my account and reactivating card to charge the credit to the right account can’t be done either.

I asked to escalate the matter to management as I know I’m not the only person to whom this might have happened. It is a simple transfer after all. Escalation request was also denied.

Long story short. We won’t be allocating any of the funds towards this company anymore.

So basically before letting your kid play:
- verify account and age check
- DONT get voice chat ( they ban you even if you open your mouth bro its insane)
- train your child to NOT talk to strangers- only friends

And honestly everything else is already built in the app if you do those things your kid is prolly in sum Roblox Kids which are kid friendly games so you don’t need to worry about some random instagram reel talking about sum “roblox is bad because of this game” no. Roblox did everything to prevent this from happening. I also feel like more people should know that Roblox is literally a place to MAKE games. ANYONE can make a game on roblox with Roblox Studios downloaded on a computer. So parents need to stop blaming the whole company. It pmo.

Overall, Roblox is probably the BEST gaming platform out there! At the time I was writing this, I have been playing Roblox for a bit over 2 YEARS. The platform is really good! Although they did add the chat update in early 2026 where we have to scan our face to let an AI guess our age and for us to be put in that age group AND to unlock chat. But I DO get that you were LEGALLY FORCED to add this update and if you didn't add the chat update, you COULD have risked being BANNED WORLDWIDE. But I do miss chatting to my friends on Roblox. I had a Roblox friend on my alt (alternative) account who I had in my Roblox alt's first couple of days. I Really do miss chatting to him. And that one friend also told me about TSB (The Strongest Battlegrounds) and how to play it! I'm VERY glad I got to have them as a friend and I just WISH I could chat with them again. I haven't done the age check because... I don't trust SCANNING MY FACE AND LETTING AN AI GUESS MY AGE. WHAT IF THERE IS A DATA BREACH? AND WHAT IF THE FACIAL DATA ISN'T ENCRYPTED IN THE PERSONA SERVERS!? (It probably will be encrypted for safety!) I do enjoy playing all the different games that BILLIONS of different Roblox players have made and published! But I also REALLY don't like how we have to have done the age check to be able to publish our games to ages 16+ and then all for us to have to wait until 250 unique 16+ age verified players have joined our game all for our game to be able to reach younger audiences. That's not very good! WHAT ABOUT THE SMALL DEVELOPERS ON ROBLOX? HOW WILL THEIR GAMES EASILLY GROW? Like I said at the start, Roblox IS VERY fun if you want to play MILLIONS (Or possible even BILLIONS) of unique community built games! Go try it if you haven't played Roblox! (It's more fun than you think!)

David buzunga ruined everything in roblox! he got caught using AI SLOP moderation! He ruined chat! He was also the reason why THE STUPID AGE VERIFICATION WAS INTRODUCED IN THE FIRST PLACE!! Ai games are also there. He banned schlep for a dumb reason! He ignored the fans (haven't seen that before) He introduced roblox kids, select and brainrot ruined the platform! He also removed the classic roblox games!! :( He also loves anthro a lot! ALSO THE STUPID R63 AVATARS HAVE GOT TO GO!! David buzunga is the worst ceo! I cant create a game because of the stupid 16+ rule means i cant rally anymore, I cant even make shirts since they increased THEIR earnings and made it more expensive to buy, The chat verification update which forces everyone to verify which buys their face and id, Can even chat with friends, False AI late bans, And a lot more.

Including supporting pedofiles and making more excuses by adding these absolutely horrible updates.

Roblox customer support is an absolute joke and easily one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever dealt with. I got randomly logged out of my account (`noctizzff7`), and instead of a real person helping me get back in, I’ve been stuck in an endless loop of copy-pasted bot replies. Because I never linked an email or made purchases on the account, the bots keep demanding verification details that literally do not exist. I provided every piece of legit information I actually have—my creation date, display names, friend count, and the exact MacBook device and IP I play on—and support just sends the exact same generic template saying they "don't have enough information." It makes zero sense that a multi-billion dollar platform relies on useless automated filters instead of having a human agent take two minutes to check backend device logs. They basically expect you to just give up on your account and start over, which completely proves they don't care about their players at all.
