I had an amazing time at my 2 month internship in New York this summer. Marc was really good with organising accommodation and keeping me updated before I came. I was picked up from the airport and had welcome meal, and meals throughout where I got to meet other interns.
the internship itself was an incredible experience. I was placed at an immigration law firm in Wall Street, where I was able to gain hands-on experience working on O-1B visa petitions. I was taking on paralegal work including writing reference letters and cover letters. this gave me the opportunity to develop my legal writing skills that I can take forward into my aspiring career as a solicitor.
living and working in New York for the summer was an experience I will never forgot. I met so many people, both through the agency and my internship itself, some of whom we've kept in contact, explore the city, and gained a level of independence that I wouldn't have been able to get anywhere else.
overall, I am really grateful for the opportunity and for the support I received throughout the process. it was an experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone, helped me grow both personally and professionally, and gave me memories I will have for a very long time. thank you Marc for being so accommodating!

I recently completed a five-week business development internship in Tokyo, and Intern Abroad HQ made the entire journey incredibly smooth from start to finish. Their pre-departure support, clear communication, and application coordination took all the stress out of planning a trip overseas. Honestly, the program was amazing from day one. Marc was super accommodating and made moving to NYC so much easier than I expected. He helped me lock down solid housing, literally picked me up from the airport when I landed, and even hosted dinners for all the interns as we arrived so we could actually meet each other and network. He also checked in on me throughout the summer just to see how I was adjusting to the city. Thanks to the placement, I got an analyst role at a New York cross-border advisory firm where I worked on high-level frameworks and deal criteria. The internship itself was an incredible resume builder, but Marc’s personal support on the ground is what really made the summer. Definitely recommend them if you're trying to break into the city.

My Marketing & Communications internship in Tokyo (Japan) was one of my most rewarding experiences for my professional and academic journey. What I enjoyed the most was the opportunity to fully immerse myself in a new culture that I became deeply fond of while working alongside professionals who supported me in my career aspirations by giving me the independence and challenge to develop and lead work initiatives. This experience also allowed me to observe Japanese culture and develop an appreciation and understanding for their work ethic and respect that I will continue to implement in my future projects and in my personal life. Most importantly, this internship helped me confirm my love for traveling and my future career in international marketing

My internship experience in New York was an incredible opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. As part of the orientation process, I attended dinners and networking events with Marc and other interns, which gave me the opportunity to build relationships, learn about different backgrounds and experiences, and become more comfortable in a new professional environment. These dinners were especially valuable because they created a more informal setting where I could ask questions, connect with colleagues, and learn more about the organization and the opportunities available in New York. Moving to New York for the internship also pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me become more independent, adaptable, and confident. Overall, the experience taught me the importance of building genuine professional relationships and making the most of opportunities to connect with people early in a new organization.

Everything went very smoothly, my internship was as described and I had the best experience in and outside of it during my time in Tanzania. The living conditions and arranged hostel accommodation was also much better than I had expected and meeting so many people just added to my experience.

I am very happy I discovered Cerca got to an internship in Thessaloniki. This experience has been both academically enriching and personally fulfilling. It allowed me to improve my laboratory skills and explore a new culture. I also was able to take weekend trips to Croatia, Athens, and Crete which was as this was my first time outside the US.

The Reserve Management & Research internship at Kruger National Park in South Africa was amazing! I had perfect pre-departure support before I left home. The internship gave me confidence & helped improve my skills and English language. It was great seeing my first leopard and I love living in the bush as well!

While this is a legit company that can provide you with a good internship experience. I unfortunately didn't have that experience. I had a mediocre internship where the supervisor was nice and helpful. But, it wasn't as involved in civil engineering as I was informed it would be. I ended up doing stuff that's more electrical engineering than civil engineering. Then, on top of that, I had to spend many hours and days when I wasn't assigned anything to do. Also, the communication was terrible at my internship. I have had days when my supervisor wouldn't be at the actual facility and didn't tell me that he wouldn't be there. I had to find out from overhearing a conversation that he would be out on vacation in Germany and Switzerland during my last week interning. Then the housing situation was terrible. I had a racist aggressive host parent. Who I had to move out from after a day and a half. When she was watching me while I was showering, she started yelling at me.She kept yelling at me when I tried to ask her what was wrong. So, I had to stop showering and get out. She then enters the room I was in while I was getting dresses after I told her not to come in just to keep yelling at me. She and her dog kept getting closer and closer to me until I yelled at her not to come near me after telling her to stop multiple times. When I reported her to euroace the company that Intern Abroad HQ is partnered up with. They tried to tell me to go back and stay with her, and it's a misunderstanding. I had to go back and fourth with them to get them to put me in an apartment. Later, Intern Abroad HQ tried to say that "It was a misunderstanding" and that " both sides had escalated the situation." How did I escalate things? When I tried to ask her calmly what was wrong. Then had to yell at her not to come near me when she kept being hostile and aggressive. In the end, I enjoyed my two months in Spain due to being immersed in the culture, not because of the internship program. If you decide to get an internship through Intern Abroad HQ. Do not apply to their Valencia, Spain program. Since that's the program with their partnership with Euroace that placed me with that mediocre internship and that terrible host parent. Lastly, beware of the risk of being misled about your placement, like many of my peers and I were.

I enjoyed the internship and the work I did so much. It was something that was really important and impactful for my career and interest as an immigration lawyer. I was able to learn how to properly communicate with clients and I got to learn the process of getting the necessary documents so that they can remain in Spain legally. It was truly a privilege and fantastic experience and opportunity for me. Additionally, this experience helped me develop and get an idea for what it means to communicate, work, write, and interact professionally with clients and colleagues alike. My internship opened my eyes to a new and efficient way to connect and work in immigration law. As well as opening my eyes to the limitless possibility of connecting to new people. My internship also helped me meet and work with new amazing people within the same interests as me. It’s something I will take with me for my future work to deepen my personal and professional development. I just want to say thank you so much for the help I received such as answering my questions and doubts that I had before and during my application process. They were answered very quickly and with a lot of information. Intern HQ also really put into consideration my interests and goals when searching and creating a placement for me in the law firm I worked in which I really appreciated. The staff were also nice and considerate of us. They made sure we were comfortable and knowledgeable about the new location we were in. They also walked me to my internship placement on my first day to make sure I arrived to the right place and safely.

Booking this sort of programme through intern abroad HQ gave you that extra security in case anything went wrong. They made the whole booking process easy and even helped you connect with other interns before arrival. They were quick with any questions or issues I had and checked in on me once I was there.
The programme itself was enjoyable, and I learnt a lot. I found the working conditions different to what I was expecting, it was more relaxed and easy going. I was given a lot of freedom in the work, which I liked but took some adjusting to. The organisation of the NGO could do with some improving, I found I had to keep asking for more work and feedback. But everyone there was very lovely and welcoming and let me join in on a lot of classes and boat trips despite not being a diving intern.
The homestay was nice, food was good, family didn't speak any English though, it is a bit basic conditions. Living with the other interns was really nice and made it easy to connect with them and become friends. We would often go out in the afternoon and evenings together and even went on a few weekend trips within Costa Rica.
Overall, I am really glad I went, it was a very memorable expiernce, I learnt a lot and it will help improve my career prospects and I met some amazing people.

My internship in Seville, Spain through Internship Abroad HQ was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I had the opportunity to work on a school farm, where I learned about Spanish farming practices while working alongside an incredible team. Everyone was welcoming, patient, and made me feel like part of the community from the very beginning.
Beyond the internship itself, living in Spain allowed me to experience a new culture, improve my Spanish, and become much more confident navigating everyday life in another country. I made lifelong friendships with people from around the world and gained a new appreciation for different ways of life.

Honestly, I greatly enjoyed having the opportunity and independence to push myself out of my comfort zone to travel internationally on my own as a young woman trying to prepare for a career! I felt incredibly safe in Athens, even when alone. Personally, this experience helped me build resilience and stronger interpersonal skills. I greatly enjoyed interacting with Greek people, my internship coordinating team, my boss and my roommates. Personally, I wanted to see as much of the city as I could in two short weeks and I was proud of my efforts to walk or run to as many destinations as possible so that I could see even more! Professionally, this experience was once in a lifetime. I was beyond blessed to get to witness and shadow how physical therapy and health practices are performed in another country. It was such a unique opportunity to observe patient care in a new setting - where different therapeutic techniques and cultural customs became very apparent. I appreciated being able to come back to the United States with a more versatile perspective on how physical therapy can be performed. I truly feel as though I learned so much from the team at my placement and it was such a gift to be able to have this opportunity. I would definitely recommend this program and would love to come again. Thank you!

My experience with InternHQ and my local team in Spain was great. I am a medical student and was looking for an internship that matches my profile and requests. I got assigned into a clinic and hospital for OB&GYN and I had a great time, learned a lot and felt very comfortable. My mentor was a very doctor and person, she was very keen to teach me and never made me feel left out. I was doubtful for this experience but I am so glad I spent 3 weeks into this experience who for sure brought me closer to what I want to do in the near future. The Media & Film Production internship was an excellent experience from start to finish. Through the tasks I have performed and the effort I have put forth, I feel more empowered to succeed in my chosen career field. My homestay family was awesome. My coworkers were engaging and interested in learning more about me, and in teaching me more about Australian culture as well as their own. I came for an internship and made new friends along the way.

The staff was amazing! I was nervous going into the program as I have never traveled abroad before, but I adapted very quickly due to the support InternAbroad HQ provided me with. A once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so glad I chose them! P.S. Valencia, Spain stole my heart.
