Found a discount, was able to add to cart, enter email and pay with credit card. The email came quick with the info, then the code was available immediately in my account. I redeemed on Steam, np.

One of the worst ordering experiences I've ever had.

I’ll keep this brief because I don’t want to waste any more time on this company than I already have.

My entire purchase process was frustrating from start to finish:

I tried to add a game to my cart. The site said it was added, but when I opened the cart it was empty.

After eventually getting the game into my cart, I attempted to pay with PayPal, but the transaction was rejected for vague “security reasons.”

I then tried paying by card. Both attempts failed with a generic “error” message and no explanation.

I eventually managed to complete the checkout and was told I’d receive a confirmation email. No email ever arrived (yes, I checked my spam folder).

I registered a full account so I could at least check my order. The game does appear in my orders, but when I try to generate the key I’m met with another generic “error” and told to contact support.

I don't understand how this store is still online.

Bought already a game for 2bucks. They only have support through discord and I cannot redeem my game without an account. An account that SHOULD be generated but it's been 12h already.
Edit, bumped to a 3star. Emails work*. They responded in 12h x2 to 2 emails and got my account and password, respectively. The code works fine.

I bought a bundle from them on the 30. of december and on the 2. of January they took the money for the bundle. But I have yet to get any bundle from them or hear back from them, when contacting them.

Horrible service - errors galore on purchase and litterally stealing money from custimors.

I created an account because I wanted to make my first purchase. I verified the email and went ahead with the transaction. When I had to use the payment method I got this error: "This transaction was aborted due to security reasons. Please contact our support for further info."
No matter what I did I could not get rid of it and buy the product. In the meant time I contacted indie gala with an email which takes up to 24 hours to get a reply for..
The discord support seems to be even worse with an automated bot creating tickets 2 days after your have mentioned your problem but this may be because today it is Monday and yesterday it was Sunday . It's very unacceptable and unless this issue gets resolved immediately this review will remain the same!

Update: After 2 hours I got a mail from the support, they apologized and asked me to try doing it again now. I had already got the key from somewhere else but I wanted to see if the issue would be fixed anyway. Turns out I was still getting the same error while I was in the website but I could move forward with the transaction. For this reason I change my review from 1 star to 3.

I purchased "R.I.P.D The Game," and it crashed shortly after launching.

I tried every solution available online, but none worked.

This game was released in 2013 and has been off the shelves for years, so no updates are expected to support newer PC specs and operating systems.

I bought an unplayable game and cannot get a refund.

usually the site is pretty good but they refuse to offer me a refund after supporting them for over a decade. guess its time to reconsider using them.

Okay, as a volunteer community helper of indiegala, I think I saw enough to review it.

Indiegala - is the most buggy and junky official site to purchase game keys. When you purchase keys - be aware to see a small, barely noticeable message below each product - which country it isn't available in, it won't tell you itself that you can't take that because of your country, and not only that - it sometimes won't even SHOW the warning sign of which countries aren't available for this product, so you'll just have to buy and see.

Well, you'll always get refunded for that, that's why it's an official site, but that's not only the problem.

Recently, I think so, indiegala got attacked by cyberhackers (Of course, this is in my opinion). Gameplay Giveaway rewards were registered to different, unknown email addresses, of course, after a while, it went back to your own email. Now that's talks about site's cybersecurity, which is concerning. And I also think that someone who hadn't registered their email on the rewards, probably lost them, and they can be really worthy rewards.

Well, how do you get these rewards? Well, no how, at least now. You could've get it from the Gameplay Giveaway, but probably because of that cyberattack, they lost tons of keys. When you will try playing the Gameplay Giveaway and get the reward, at the end when you finish the game, you won't get a reward because the game will get stuck at the end, which is triggering and upsetting.

Let's end that with the cherry on the top of a cake. There's a new feature on the site, wheel of fortune, the prizes are exciting I can tell, they also a chance of the same reward of the Gameplay Giveaway, but the wheel of fortune is as upsetting as Gameplay Giveaway. You see - The wheel has 4 rewards.

1. (16.67%) Steam key (What has Gameplay Giveaway)
2. (33.33%) 0.20 GalaCredit (Basically, 0.20$)
3. (16.67%) -10% coupon on the products (Okay? Not interested)
4. (33.33%) 10 Galasilver (baddest prize)

I promise you, you won't get anything except for the 10 Galasilver because that wheel spins the same way...

It's very upsetting, because the site and their company has potential, but these problems really prevent them from moving forward to the better choices and developments. I hope in the future, it will become a more silent, calm site which won't have anything to report about.

The whole service is a crap and scam!
Their App is barely working and crashing.
Their website is made from potato, crashes, freezes. Even crashes on suggested Chrome browser.
Mini games is a SCAM! Game crashes and browser freezes always after won . This is common issue often described on their forum.

I really enjoyed playing this game for a little over a year...UNTIL April 2025. I've been trying to collect my winnings $50, $20, $20 - I email and get a generated response stating "its the weekend...will review on next business day" IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER 10 WEEKS!! Why can't folks be legit, honest and decent?

Paid them money for a game, cannot reddem keys for said game since 4 days now. Their Discord is unresponsive, they do not reply to mails.

They are SCAMMERS. *Avoid like the plague.*

Sold a key that I couldn't redeem, support was non-existent

Indie gala is exactly what it seems: a marketplace that collects and sells electronic keys for independent video games, often at a steep discount. I've purchased more than a hundred game keys and bundles of keys from Indie Gala, and every key has worked. There are many games that I've purchased that I would not have known about except that they appeared on indiegala.com.

Bought two keys to gift, but neither person received keys. I had to pester their helpdesk for two days, after which they eventually emailed keys directly (one each per day).
Be warned that their only dedicated support channel is Discord(!), which was slow and every issue/ticket is public. The whole process was like going back in time to 2005... avoid.

Ordered a game key, was allowed to pay for it. Was then unable to log into the site due to error e731. 24 hours later, no response from staff via email or Discord customer-support request, key still held hostage, error still occurring. Charged back the money, went to Humble Bundle, got the key instantly, no log-in issues. Will definitely not be going back to IndieGala, what a terrible first experience!!

Products are not marked as out of stock in the store but are removed from your cart when you try to check out. This has been ongoing for months and they still haven't fixed it.

Currently owe me close to $100. Will not reply to messages nor complete withdrawal requests. I have cashed out in the past, no issues, but have been waiting 3 months for this cash out. Scammers and crooks.

[UPDATED] Support managed to restore the missing content and are on a campaign to improve the site, while sorting out remaining issues people are facing. They also had some sales that were pretty good compared to the other competitors, so it seems the store is going in the right direction.

I've made several purchases in the past from Indiegala, only to realize entire bundles/gifts started to randomly disappear from my account. Contacted support and they played the "bundle too old we don't have keys" card, which is simply ridiculous, as a couple of days ago, content was visible in my account. I also keep track of my purchases offline and I know exactly what bundle I bought, when and its contents, however I only kept the revealed codes, which is a mistake as I shouldn't have trusted them since they keep losing my data.
