I have been a long time customer and constantly dealing with their new crafty scams that take way more money than you set the budget and they have removed the ability to only pay for qualified candidates. They are tricking stealing from their own customers.

I am only looking for a simple entry level part time job to do since I am disabled and retired. I put in Part-time and remote missouri with a pay minimum being one dollar.
If I was looking for full time work I would be thrilled, but I am not.....

This job board is a joke! Every job they suggest is half of a fit, and must be all spam, fake, fraud! Im so tired of putting out 10 applications a day and getting the same SPAM responses!!! what ever happened to jobs just saying they are hiring, some people out here still want to work!!!

Over the last three months, I have been searching for graphic design jobs, or any similar job titles that fit my resume and current experience on the platform. During that span of time, there have been a few employers who would get back to me and give a normal response that they would not be moving forward in the interview process. However, most of them would never respond after my resume was submitted and would ghost me for months on end. I still have about ten applications that I am waiting for a response on, with many others removed from my saved jobs after they kept me waiting for over two months. While ghosting is not inherently the fault of Indeed, scams, on the other hand, are something that is breaking my trust in the platform. Over a week ago, I received a response from someone who was interested in commissioning me for brand design, claiming to be from the company "JDB Group." I honestly thought this was going to be my big break and an opportunity to add another strong design to my portfolio. However, as I dug through the email response, I came to realize that it was most likely a cashier's check scam, because the message stated that the only way they were going to pay me was by cashier's check. They also asked for personal information so that their "financial officials" could send the payment to me. I have already reported this to Indeed and am waiting to see if these messages were actually a scam or not. Either way, finding a good job on this platform has been like finding a needle in a haystack. I would also advise Indeed to find ways to improve its security and prevent scam and fraudulent job postings and opportunities from accessing the platform. Jobs Need People. But until then, good luck finding anything on Indeed.

Many jobs are closed once clicked through to the company page; a large number of scam jobs posted that send scam emails from Gmail and such. Indeed does very little to validate companies before allowing them to post jobs, so scammers easily get on the site and post fake jobs trying to get you to give your SSI, DOB and other info so they scam you. Lots of jobs are not real either but simply posted by companies to make it look good that they are hiring for their share holders. Overall, Indeed is over scammed, poor moderation, and enables the use of AI bots to fill out applications to flood the applicant pools.

I’m giving Indeed one star because it removed my honest, firsthand review of Spectrum—not once, but twice. During my employment, I experienced what I believe was favoritism in how managers distributed property assignments. Certain employees received better opportunities, while others were given assignments that made success far more difficult and, in my experience, set them up to fail. I wrote only about what I personally witnessed, yet Indeed deleted both reviews. A platform that claims to value employee feedback should allow respectful, factual criticism—even when it is negative. That makes Indeed undeserving of users’ trust and, in my opinion, anything more than one star on Trustpilot.
MY RESPONSE:
Hello Indeed Support,
Thank you for your response. My concern is that Indeed removed my review of Spectrum twice without explaining why. I received this response only after posting a one-star review of Indeed on Trustpilot.
As a former Spectrum employee, I described what I personally experienced and believed was favoritism in how properties were assigned to sales representatives’ portfolios. In my view, some employees received better opportunities while some new employees received assignments that set them up to fail. At least four other employees share those concerns.
I understand that reviews require moderation. However, your statement that you cannot discuss individual reviews leaves me unable to understand or address the specific issue. That is difficult to reconcile with your stated commitment to transparency.
Please escalate my concern to the appropriate team and identify which wording violated which guideline. I would also appreciate knowing whether my review can be reconsidered or revised while preserving an accurate account of my experience.

Would give zero if possible. Been trying to delete my account with them and customer service is useless.
Were they claim an option to delete account is located, it isn’t?

Fails to publish reviews that are within their guidlines, especially if they are of a negative nature and that company has a large number of vacancies posted with them.
NEXT AND IT IS A BIG ONE, to test this I deleted my account , then a few days later re registered using a different email etc. Within 24 hours I received a automated spam call, saying it is from Indeed and to save number to my Watts App now tell everyone Indeed don't pass on phone numbers !!! I called number guess what not answered.

I’ve been trying to use Indeed for job hunting but now giving up as the jobs on my ‘preference list’ are not jobs I’m interested in: Deliveroo driver?, endless education roles, for which I’m not qualified (as a teacher) and of course endless care work. It’s ridiculous and wasting my time and energy. Do better Indeed. People actually want to find suitable jobs.

The app layout is so messy and better yet my review from my old job after I left was rejected twice due to being fake or name calling, I think they need to recheck their review process before rejecting it. Please fix this issue.

full of listings every time I get an short list that are clearly fake or illegible - as they are written in a foreign language or fail to include even the most basic of legal details required. Some offer outlandish amounts while others do not list if they even offer the award wage.
The reporting seems to do nothing and to even access my account they are asking for my private details including phone number to be provided to a third party company and set myself up to be scammed or constantly called by tele marketing. Scam behaviour and against the ACCC and fair work policies. Def do not recommend as you can get safer jobs through Facebook (and that is saying something)

To be in dire need of a job and look to indeed for help is a complete waste of time. It's almost impossible to get to a place where you can submit an application and your email and text are bombarded w spam at such a level that my phone kept dying and getting too hot. I will never recommend them to anyone .

Fed up of it asking to log in every time it changes pages

Can I ask you indeed? Why are you so stupid that you put the settings for minimum pay jobs at 25 mile radius? How many people getting £12 an hour can afford to drive 25 miles to work each time? I reset it to 5 miles you reset it to 25.

It’s better than zip recruiter, I’ll say that. It’s easier to find legit good paying jobs on indeed. I’d say LinkedIn and indeed are in a virtual tie for the best.
Fake job listings, never shows you any jobs in your immediate area, and lately I get spam mail showing me more fake job listings that ghost me. The chances of actually finding a job on here is slim, most of the job listings are fake and the companies are selling your data and getting your email and phone number blown up with spam.

Indeed are using AI for most of their work. I constantly have had jobs suggested for me which are nothing at all to do with my profession.
Indeed are a horrific Company spouting rubbish what their purpose is supposed to be.
If people actually work for indeed themselves now - I wish the worst upon them because they are causing so many issues with job searches!

Indeed is terrible. Customer Service is no help at all and they flagged every post I have as 'Sponsor Only' so I have to pay exorbitant fees to find some millenial idiot that wants a raise just for having a heartbeart. Everyone Gets A Trophy! Love it.
