Unfortunately, my experience with CFS was disappointing.
I placed my order online and was originally advised that the expected delivery time would be around 8 weeks. After waiting and then calling to check on the progress of my order, I was told it had been delayed and would take another 8 weeks. This meant I ended up waiting roughly double the original estimated time, which I don't think is acceptable.
The delivery itself was also delayed. I was given an ETA of between 3pm and 6pm, but the delivery didn't arrive until around 6:45pm.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the furniture arrives protected in large wooden/box crates. While I understand this is done to protect the furniture during transport, you are left to dispose of all of the packaging/crates yourself, which is inconvenient, especially with larger items.
The reason I'm giving 2 stars rather than 1 is the customer service. Whenever I called, they did answer the phone and were responsive and willing to assist, which I appreciated.
Overall, if you're prepared to potentially wait much longer than the original estimated delivery time and can deal with delays and disposing of the delivery packaging yourself, then you may be fine using CFS. However, based on my experience, the delivery times and communication around delays need significant improvement.

Two months later - one damaged now returned rug, still waiting on full refund. Total joke of a company. Avoid!!!

Promised delivery before Christmas which came and went and fobbed me off with endless excuses, told lies and now waiting for a refund, 10 weeks later. Terrible and not worthy of one star. Stay away from these cowboys.

I could write a whole paragraph but I’m not wasting my time on this awful company anymore. All you need to know is it’s been 3 months since I ordered. No item, no refund, no compensation offered for the time I’ve spent waiting. False promises. Useless company that’s all I can say

Please please AVOID! For your sanity and your money!!!! This company is the biggest time wasting scam going. They will lie about lead times and delivery and will also withhold your refund. They charged us TWICE! And still haven’t refunded or delivered the item and it’s been almost 2 weeks. Please avoid! Their customer service agents also LIE a lot. You can see from other reviews they are trained to lie to customers to get them off the phone as quickly as possible. Please avoid! There are so many reputable companies to get furniture from, I wish we thought twice before buying. So greatly disappointed and hoping our bank can help refund both payments taken from us.

I ordered and payed for a dressing table mirror four weeks ago and it did not arrive. When I logged into the cfs website the order could not be found so I rang customer services who said they would contact me this week the mirror was on ten days delivery.

Horrible Experience, please think 100 times before order, customer service sraffs are nightmare.I'm still waiting for my refund. Always lying with commitments. Never ever do the mistake by ordering with them. Their ETA are just joke. Never trust with ETA.

Waiting for a delivery expected on the 27th of July 2025. Total silence and no idea on when I'll get the ordered furniture

Terrible Avoid this company!! 3rd time now ive been told delivery today,waited in from 9am-6pm no delivery!! Ordered & was given delivery date ,then informed day before item not available,chose a different colour & twice now no delivery & always blame the courier for not collecting item

I have order a coffe table they received my order and took my money and waited 3months but No Update and after contacting customer service they said the manufacturer don’t sell it anymore.wasted my time

Not great customer service!
After being kept waiting for almost 2 weeks for a quotation for a bouyant corner chaise. Despite a clear email with the fabric required (not on Cfs fabric swatch but available from the manufacturer)
Was told sales would contact the manufacturer and obtain a cost but instead after repeated emails and calls Cfs just resent the fabric swatch from their website that I could view anyway!
When I explained the colour fabric was similar to one on the swatch they just quoted on that instead, and not a competitive price either!
So basically 2 weeks a waste of time!
I then called another company they immediately inquired regarding the fabric with the manufacturer 10 minutes later gave a great price.
Order placed 😊
Cfs if your customer service is this poor I wouldn't want to experience your after sales!

Paid for a weighted cooling blanket in September
Took my money but not received my blanket
I email this company but no reply
I had to go through my bank to get a refund while they are investigating
Dont waste your money or time with this company !!

This bank has the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. If you have a problem not during regular business hours...which are very limited and nonexistent on weekends...you are just out of luck. They don't care. They will put a restriction on your account without connecting you to verify a purchase They deem "unusual". My son passed away and I was locked out of my account multiple times during the month even though I repeatedly informed them I was traveling, etc. Worst bank experience ever in my life. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!!!

Just had 4 indus beige velvet Quilted Diamond bar stools delivered, fast delivery and free will definitely shop with CFS again .

Absolutely disgraceful I ,ordered a display cabinet back in November to be told it would be delivered by 9th march ,It didn’t arrive by then and no email to say when it would be arriving,I then phone CFS up to be told it would be 31st of may ,not happy but I really wanted this cabinet, then I found the same one on a different website and it came within two days so I rang CFS to cancel there’s and they told me my refund would be in my bank within seven days that was on the 9th April.I have had to chase this company up every day to get my money back and it was only yesterday April the 26th I got it every day I was promised it would be in my bank that same day and every day it was not the stress this has caused me had been terrible just to get my own money back ,nothing but lies and even said they didn’t have my bank account details strange when I paid with the same bank card , NEVER AGAIN will I buy anything from this company

Had a leather recliner chair delivered today. Lovely quality very pleased. Great customer service and a great couple of delivery guys who even took the boxes away. I will be ordering from them again regards Tina Rumsey

Very disappointed again, paid for such expensive sofa, the quality is not equal to the showroom one...
no matter on quality sofa production or the after sales service, pls don't make any purchase

Ordered 2 Lara yellow dining chairs. Good looking chairs at a reasonable price and fairly easy to assemble.
At point of order, 31/07/2023, the website showed that the chairs were in stock and I received an email on 01/08/2023 stating that the chairs would be delivered by 21/08/2023.
A couple of week later the date was put back to the 31/08/2023 and then again to 08/09/2023.
The chairs eventually arrived on 14/09/2023.
If the chairs had been delivered within the original time-line, I would have awarded 5 stars.
