The workers were very friendly and worked well taking all the rubbish with them. The work done was very good and very happy with the work done.
I am one of the many Progress Housing tenants that has had new windows this year. Currently, all I can hear is traffic noise and screaming little C's on the field nearby!
Pros: The two guys that removed the old windows and fitted the new ones smashed it. All done in 6 hours. Very impressed by that. However...
Cons: I noticed big gaps in the brick/mortar when the old windows had been removed. These were not filled with mortar or even foam, they were covered over with a piece of plastic held on by silicone. That, and the annoying vents, are the reasons why so much outside noise now fills this house. Our quality of life has been effected by this. I guess I'll now have to look into secondary glazing options to reduce noise and possibly cold in winter (there's no way the cold isn't gonna get through those silly vents, closed or not). Yeah, thanks for nothing. It would have been better to leave the 90s windows.
If this would allow me to give 0 (yes zero), I would give Anglian Windows zero stars. Do not use this company. They may hide behind glossy brochures and a UK wide presence giving them a level of credibility and trust but it is a complete farce. I ordered 1 window for a bathroom project. After 4 failed or aborted installations due to poor organisational issues (fitters but no scaffolding, scaffolding but no fitters), wrong spec of window made, there is still no resolution 2 months on from when window was 1st scheduled to be fitted. What's more, only radio silence from Anglian! I either get put through to a line that rings out and cuts you off or through to a chat Bot. Window has now been sitting in my hall for a month (with young kids this is less than ideal), no contact for over a month despite me contacting a Regional Manager, my email and chaser went unacknowledged. My bathroom project has completely halted as it can't be completed without the window being sorted, I've had to cancel decorators, take time off work, spent hours trying to follow up.
In reality, customer service is non existent and I am left in limbo unable to progress things at all. I have outlined my complaint in writing on 10 August but had no response or acknowledgement.
I finally tried ringing again today, 7th Sept and was told after being passed through a couple of people, that 2 individuals (in customer engagement and regional) were dealing with this and I woukd get a call back today. Its now 17.30 and no such call.
I just want my deposit back now and to be done with it so I can commission another company to do the job.
I will never use this company again, something has got to be structurally wrong here for customer service to be so catastrophically diabolical.
During the time we have been customers of Anglian (over 35 years) we have had all the windows double-glazed, roof trim fitted to the front and back of house, as well as a new conservatory. The first set of windows lasted 35 years! Last month we had a new door and side window replaced, and today we had the final piece of work done on the porch ceiling - new soffits/fascia/guttering etc. Many thanks to Mick Hannish (Sittingbourne depot) who completed the last job on the porch for us. First-class job! The porch has been transformed!
Whatever the final cost of the job, it is well worth it. We have actually saved money over the years in that the designers recommend what is best for your individual needs. You end up with a first-class product which fits perfectly.
All the workmen we have encountered over the years are professionals - they explained what they were going to do, have arrived punctually, and cleared all the debris when they finished. They always cover any carpets etc and vacuum them afterwards if necessary. They are polite, always have a sense of humour, and are able to answer any queries you might have.
I absolutely recommend the company - we have never had any regrets.
Very good from start to finish everyone well informed well done
Terrible customer service. We had an engineer come out for our front door still in warranty to align the hinges, 2nd visit I might add. The door has never been right since fitting. The engineer came, made it worse and my key snapped in the lock trying to open the door for a second time . Anglian were made aware of this and washed their hands. Locksmith wrote on his report this has been caused by mis aligned hinges which is Anglian’s responsibility. They shirk responsibility and adopt a simple computer says no attitude without listening to the customer or any proof to say their door/ engineer is at fault.
The silicone around the edges of the door is just shoddy, came off right away. These doors are expensive without anything to justify their prices. Quality is off the mark. There is way better out there in the market, their customer service is terrible, and you will face issues post fitting, not worth using.
Have exhausted all discussions with Ms Jasmeet Parmar, their customer services rep.
Whilst I paid more than I expected but still a great deal, the service was good from start to finish and installed quicker than expected. The quality of the product is so much better than the previous front door and much more care went into installing it. No more leaks for me!

I am fed up with their constant marketing calls and have been bombarded with calls from different mobile numbers since agreeing to set up a teams call with them, after they gave me an expensive quote to replace guttering. I even told them to take me off of their marketing list and then received a further call from them 2 days later. Any more calls will result in a report to trading standards!

Having spent over ten thousand pounds with this company, I expected a little more consideration. Turns out they only look after their own staff when it comes to emergencies. Whilst on the phone I was abruptly put on hold and without knowing somebody else eventually came back to tell me her colleague had an emergency to deal with.
THEY ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE, this is in the small print. So, when I called them last Tuesday to tell them that I couldn't open my front door, the earliest day they could attend was on the Friday (this despite the 10 year guarantee). So, if you want a company that is likely to attend an emergency sooner, use another company. Like I said, small print.
I have also had cause to complain in the past. They replaced a window, again under the 10 year guarantee, but the new window was only covered for the remainder of the original guarantee. They can get away with fitting lesser quality windows for replacement purposes this way and that they did, as the replacement window was the only one to develop issues within a relatively short period. Again, the small print.

Follow-up care terrible. This is now the second occasion I have been left waiting to have a service visit arranged after my french doors stopped locking, having been promised I would be contacted in 5 business days, calling them after 7 of no contact, then being promised callback after 48 hours maximum, no contact! Impossible to recommend Anglian after these repeated failures.

If there was an option No Stars at all, we would put it none. We tried to book an appointment for one of our colleague on Wednesday. The agent was reluctant to book it, and asked my colleague to call them again and book it. Which we did. Agreed on Friday visit between 19:00 and 20:00. We were waiting for them all evening, and no one came. Company claims that they are even working and making visits on Weekends, but in our case they even didn't come on Friday. If this is an adequate service, then what is Inadequate service from this company? Windows company standing in B and Q shop quickly and easily helped us. Unprofessional, Haven't received any Apologies, No Writings, No Response, Not Recommended to Businesses or Private Clients. We guess this company doesn't need money from their potential clients. That's all. If someone needs details, we will happily provide them. Name of the person on the phone, Booking details, Timing, Address of the visit.

Further to my last review -
Even though they said they are getting in touch to investigate but had no contact from them.
Which clearly indicates their lack of standards.

Anglian aren't cheap, but the quality is excellent. We're very happy with our new conservatory, the consultation and planning process, the attention to detail, and the speed with which it was installed.

The Anglian team were friendly and helpful and kept us up to date on progress. The end result looks good and as far as we can tell they have done a high quality job. The implementation over-ran which meant that the scaffolding stayed up a a few days longer than anticipated but, as the team explained, this was due to the extreme heat and so wholly understandable

perfect fitting - tidy and neat. Only problem was that the date of fitting had to be changed and this was a bit last minute. The windows are great.

Anglian's products and installation team are first-rate, but their customer service is shocking !!
After windows and doors were installed in February 2020, we discovered during a house sale that we needed a FENSA certificate—never provided or explained by Anglian. Without it, our sale was at risk and we faced expensive indemnity insurance.
When I contacted Anglian, they refused responsibility, claiming it's the homeowner's job to register with FENSA—despite being a FENSA-approved installer.
Direct Quote - "Whilst it is agreed that AGL, are a FENSA approved installer, the responsibility remains yours, as the homeowner, toensure that the installation has been registered with FENSA and the Certificate has been received.
Compliance and registration are required by law. It may be possible to obtain a FENSA Certificate direct fromFENSA if the installation was completed within a period of 2 years. If your completed installation was more thantwo years ago you will be required to contact your Local Building Authority with a view to obtaining the requisiteCertification. However, if you require the FENSA Certificate in connection with the sale of your property, this may bedealt with by obtaining an Indemnity Insurance as an alternative."
After two weeks of chasing, they provided no support. My formal complaint (24 August) remains unanswered, even though FENSA confirmed they can still register the certificate.
I've escalated to the Ombudsman. My solicitor is now handling this, adding considerable cost to what should have been straightforward.
Bottom line: Anglian installs quality windows but abandons you post-installation. If you buy from them, ensure you understand FENSA registration yourself—don't expect help from their customer service team.

Arrange for a rep to look at putting in a replacement window, possibly a sash window. Should have turned up at 13.30 05-09-2026. Now 15.42 05-09-26 still waiting. Phew and to think I might have bought one!!
No you have not. Actually I called YOU. I asked to speak to a manager, you were not interested, and I was told how YOU deal with problems. You've a lot of competition. BTW Anglia is also Safe Sure (THAT tells you something) and Everest. so save yourselves time, don't call them. Like I said, missed a bullet there! I'll go elsewhere.

Outstanding service from start to finish!
I honestly cannot thank Anglian enough for the A* service we received from beginning to end. From our initial consultation with the salesman, through to the manager getting in touch personally to make sure we were getting the very best for our budget, we felt looked after every step of the way.
A huge thank you also goes to Derek and his apprentice, who worked incredibly hard over three days installing our new windows and door. Their attention to detail, professionalism and pride in their work were outstanding. They worked tirelessly to make sure everything was finished to an exceptionally high standard, and it really shows.
We are absolutely in love with our new windows and door and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Our home looks completely different, and we are so glad we chose Anglian.
From the sales team, to management, to the installation team, everyone has been fantastic. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anglian to anyone considering new windows or doors.
Thank you, Anglian, for making the whole experience such a positive one!
